Nob's first contact with electronic music came in the late 90's at some DJ bar in his hometown, Yokohama. His passion for techno and his obsession for perfect sounds led not only to him becoming pretty popular in his hometown but also to his very own soundsystem, the KAMOME SOUND SYSTEM, created with his friends!

A weird mixing technique to back up a Nob's own take on techno, rough yet melodic, smooth yet unpredictable and also spiced up with just a bit of romanian flavour. This is Vibecast Sessions' 210th installment and one of our few cross-continent episodes.

Transitie

Sebastián Olah, known artistically as ARIA, is a Colombian DJ and producer based in Atlanta who has transformed his background as a guitarist , influenced by Pink Floyd and Dream Theater, into his own electronic language. His project is defined by a deep and melodic sound, where organic textures, hypnotic grooves, and a narrative that favors progression over immediate impact converge. This vision has allowed him to build a solid identity within the electronic scene, with performances at his AU-RA events, where he has shared the stage with artists such as Dubfire, Carl Craig, Âme, Brian Cid, and Tim Green.

His music seeks to create sensorial journeys rather than momentary explosions, a vision reflected in works like his edit of “Rodriguez Jr. – Synthwave,” where he amplifies the essence of the original without losing subtlety. ARIA is not just a selector, he understands the dance floor as a narrative space and his sets as a bridge between the rhythmic precision of the DJ and the compositional sensitivity of the musician. At this intersection lies his artistic proposal — a constant pursuit of evolution and an invitation for his audience to experience something both emotional and physical.

Foehn & Jerome are an Austrian duo who have been based in Berlin for over a decade. Their collaboration began in 2011 when they moved in together and launched the “Cafe Sturz” series at Vienna’s Grelle Forelle, where they hosted artists such as Zip, Sammy Dee and Vera.
After relocating to Berlin, they became residents at Club der Visionaere and in 2018 founded their ongoing event series Perfumed Freedom. Over the years, these gatherings have built a strong community and welcomed artists from across the globe. Today, the series has established itself as one of the key events at Club der Visionaere—a place to connect through great music and great people.

In recent years, Foehn & Jerome have shaped a sound that is both dynamic and immersive. Their music moves between warm, groove-driven rhythms and more stripped-back, experimental elements, always unfolding with a sense of flow that keeps the dance floor engaged. Their latest EP, Macho Madness featuring Sonya Zlo, pushes this evolution even further—with raw, genre-bending tracks born from a spontaneous studio jam. Much like their long-standing sets at Club der Visionaere, these productions reflect the atmosphere of their gatherings: detailed, unhurried and rooted in the connection between music and people.

@barbaraalvarezdj is undoubtedly one of the most recognized artists in Mexico, who stands out for her dedication and passion for music. Originally from Ciudad Juárez, she began her career in 2003 with a residency at the iconic club “X-Friends,” and since then she has evolved as a DJ, producer, promoter, and live performer, exploring, genres such as minimal, electro, house, tech house, and breakbeats. 

This time shes delivered us a beautiful vinyl-only hour that highlights her skill at building subtle, driving, mysterious, banging sets that really embody “going on a journey”. We’ve had the pleasure of listening to her play here in Austin a few years back and again in Mexico City at Fünk Club and are proud to call her a friend.
