10代半ばバンドでDrumsを担当、流れでダンスミュージックの世界に足を踏み入れDJ活動を開始。
カルチャーのルーツへさかのぼり、House～Garage～LoftとNYスタイルの王道にのめり込む。
同時に日本そして東京という環境を活用しあらゆる音楽・スタイル・価値観を吸収し、次第に自分の感覚でそれらをフロアに落とし込むことに意味を見い出す。
今年初め惜しまれつつその第一幕を閉じたハウスミュージックの名店、青山LOOPで14年に渡って第2土曜のレジデントを務め、現在は渋谷KOARAの第4金曜“探心音”、青山OATHでの“THE OATH”第1金曜を中心に様々なパーティーで活動中。

We’re proud to present the sixth release on flurt — Spectre EP [FLRT006] — a six-track journey from UK producer PiNG (UK), featuring incisive reworks from Mortalyf and Oscar Jones.

The four originals explore stripped-back, micro minimalism—textural, darker sounds unfolding through fractured rhythms, subtle percussive detail, and deconstructed atmospheres. Each track navigates the space between tension and release, inviting careful listening and immersive focus.

Mortalyf and Oscar Jones bring their own interpretations to the EP, adding contrast and dimension. The remixes accentuate PiNG’s hypnotic framework while introducing new twists—off-kilter grooves, punchy low-end energy, and dynamic rhythmic shifts.

With Spectre EP, we continue to explore forward-thinking minimal, delivering six tracks built on mood, precision, and intent.

Locked Groove's eponymous label comes forward with its third release, in the form of two-tracker End/Scherzo delivered by the label boss himself. On the flip, "Scherzo" brings forth a track of dark and lively techno. Peppered with forward-driving drums, broken chord synths and dreamlike pads rich in reverb, the track reaches tipping point as it crescendos at its halfway mark, only to fall back down and rebuild once more. A track of sustained euphoria that pre-empts the excitement of hearing it out fully, on a darkened floor.

End/Scherzo arrives on 11 December. On this same date, both previous Locked Groove Records releases will also be made available digitally for the first time.

VENDi is self-taught in music and draws since childhood cultivating his passion playing the piano and guitar.
He started at 20 playing vinyls and producing at the same time after having his first relationship with electronic music moving to Barcelona,  staying for a wile.  Then he decided to move to Berlin, city where he found his place playing  in several recognized clubs of the city like the Salon Sur Wilden Renate, Kater Holtzig, Bar 25,  Club Der Visionaere  or Watergate.

He already had important releases on labels such as Body Parts, Sleep is Commercial or What Now Becomes, his tracks being  played by respected artists like Raresh, Ricardo Villalobos  or Josh Wink.

   Looking back in the days, there wasn’t any doubt that music will take special place in Dimitri’s life. Growing up in the Balkans, in the post communist era, the crucial first step came in 2004 when he bought his first professional equipment. Creating buzz on the dancefloor was familiar to him since that moment. After a few years of giging mainly on private parties and after-hour gatherings, he decided that it’s time to give a shot at the bigger scene. For a couple of years his popularity started growing fast, resulting in him being recognized as one of the front runners of the new wave of electronic music artists in Bulgaria.
   Around 2008 Dimitri Monev opened up a new chapter, influenced by the deep dark beats of old school hip-hop he started to sharing his private thoughts and feelings with music of his own. Aiming at the dancefloors, his third EP (Casper) got released by the Berlin based label Waldliebe Familien and got support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Fabrizio Maurizi, Steve Lawler and more. He continued the trend of his productions as being noticed again by trend setting DJs such as Marco Carola, Luciano, Shlomi Aber, Gel Abril, Scuba and more. His own production and remixes were released on music outlets as Metroline Limited, Volupso, Elarum, Moral Fiber, Wavetech Limited, Malicious Smile, Heisenberg, Serkal, Pins & Needles, Baile Musik, Kosmophono, Act Natural Records, Draft, Natural Beat Records, Monday Morning Records, Antura Records, HOPELESS, Natural Rhythm, Waldliebe Familien, Quanticman Records, Innocent Music, Southpark Records, Konzentrisch Music.
    He wants is to give his auditory the opportunity to listen high quality electronic music to make them feel and understand it in different way. In that point 2011 partnership was born to continue the story with the establishment of our imprint called - Alboratory. A label described with the same words with which you can describe and find in Dimitri's own sets "from deep tech house to groovy dub techno, always on the run". Nowadays Alboratory had become an important part of the underground culture as is in cooperation with only well-selected various artists around the world.
The neverending process of evolution in Dimitri’s world continued in the fall of 2013 with the founding of his latest brainchild — THE NXT GEN, an event agency and vinyl label aiming to promote upcoming stars to the worldwide scene with nights involving artists such as East End Dubs, Barac, Mahony, Ada Kaleh, Fernando Costantini, Chad Andrew, Randall M, Archie Hamilton, Arapu, Caleb Calloway, Someone Else, Manuel de Lorenzi, Seb Zito, Rossko, Julie Marghilano, Dan Farserelli, David Gtronic, Giovanni Verrina & Germano Ventura, Cristi Cons, Lorenzo Chiabotti, Alisonn, Gorbani, Guy From Downstairs, Ali Nasser, Fabe, Federico Molinari, Ben Balance, Lee Burton and more, the story continue…
