A pillar of the Danish underground, Markovela has crafted an enviable position in a scene that only comes with having countless locked-in dancefloor moments under his belt. Moving the Scandinavian scene on a glacial level, few have had the level of input into the musical landscape than this next level digger. Cherishing his domestic scene as if an extension of his own flesh and blood, Markovela pours love and affection on the dancefloor with each passing transition and the connection that is established could not be more heartfelt. 

Throughout the full run time of this mix the thread of emotion could not be more cohesive. From slick, stripped back grooves courtesy of Audio Werner to uplifting gems that will rarely see the light of day outside his own record bag. Segueing from mood to mood with an ease that is difficult to comprehend at times, but that is not for you to worry about. Leave that Markovela.

Mihai and Robi started recently to colaborate and play together in Trippin Club Brasov, creating sounds and searching for vibes that may transit each techno lover's ears to a deeper dimension. Living in the quiet city Brasov, in Romania, inspiration started flowing instantly while all it took was a look to see miles of forrest and mountains. They both started playing around with crazy beats not knowing what passion would grow from an innocent curiosity to learn more and create more. This set is a way of sending the mountain vibes all the way to London, taking each listener through a journey of underground sounds.

Adopted by the city of Prague, Anastasia preaches about the humble analog format of vinyl records with her record selections rooted in dub techno as well as minimal house. One of the many reasons we invited Dona Volkova to take over our Strangers In The Night series with a vinyl only 60 minutes mix, recorded in the confort of her own place on a pair of turntables. Strangers In The Night: Dona Volkova

@yone-ko is a great DJ and producer from Japan who has been living in Berlin for quite some time. Together with Timur Basha, he organises the Wordless parties, which take place at venues including Club der Visionäre. His selection is diverse and combines traditional influences with contemporary aesthetic flows. His mix for the Freude am Tanzen podcast is a live recording from 29 August 2025 at Bar Neun Berlin, beginning with relaxing listening music and progressing to dry, groovy rhythms and basslines with catchy claps and hi-hats. 

FATPOD-89 - Yone-Ko

Hailing from Barcelona, Lis Sarocca is an artist very much on the rise and her ever growing discography will go some way to explain why. She has starred on standout releases from the likes of MAAI, Tresydos, Smallville, Chiwax, Shall Not Fade, a vintage Mobilee entry, and the excellent collab between Anna Walls’ The Bricks and System Error. 

A regular fixture at some of Europe and America’s finest parties, she has written a line under a fantastic summer with a lauded performance at this year’s Dimensions Festival. There is no sign of the Spaniard turning in for the year as she continues to light up dancefloors wherever she appears.

Her recording for our InSession series is testament to this and her sunny disposition shines through in this mix as she guides us through bass heavy, breaky goodness, dubby deep house, with stop offs in wiggly disco heaters and more than a few wonky stations along the way.
