Lucas Romero, born in Buenos Aires in 2000, is a DJ, producer, and vinyl collector. At just 25, he’s already emerging as one of the most distinctive new voices in Argentina’s electronic scene. His sound blends house, electro, synthwave, and EBM, delivering sets that combine raw dancefloor energy with emotional depth.

Deeply committed to physical formats and crate digging as a form of artistic expression, Lucas crafts eclectic selections with a strong personal identity. He has performed in clubs across Argentina and the U.S., and is currently working on his debut EP and a series of upcoming releases that will mark his official arrival on labels and digital platforms.

Part of a new generation that values tangible music experiences, Romero champions human mixing, vinyl culture, and storytelling through sound as a response to the fast-paced digital world.

If there’s any mix that defines the concept behind the Timeless Mixes series, it should be Laurent Garnier’s Essential Mix from January 2000. 2 hours I keep returning to for the past 25 years, 2 hours that have shaped my perspective on what house & techno is about. A genre defying mix filled with tracks that became iconic, no matter if they touched the progressive house, Detroit techno, deep house, electro or acid house genre. Outwordly groovy, bearing Mr. Garnier’s energy blueprint. It’s so good that no mix has ever matched the playtime I did on this one.
