Hey it's me Swifty and I'm back in full force. Sorry I haven't been very active for the last 2 years. I needed time to myself and decide what to do next. However I am back and just about to fire things up. The new mix is called ¨Starman¨ after the famous movie with Jeff Bridges. Which is one of my favorite movies. The mix is 3 hours long and is kind of a snapshot of where my head's at in the clubs right now. It's just part of what I enjoy playing, and I hope you enjoy it. ✌🏻❤️

Starman Mix

"Atmospheres" is divided into 3 moods which represent 3 layers of our earth's atmosphere, from the closest to the farthest.  Each atmospheric level would belong to a different musical mood, depending on the genre/style of the mix. First we would have "The Troposphere" (the lowest layer) which would be terrestrial mixes, where jazz/hip hop/soul etc would be mixed together. Then we would find "The Stratosphere" (a higher layer) where we would float towards more experimental musical genres (ambient for example). Finally, we would arrive at the "Exosphere" (the highest layer, stretching towards infinity) which would be the one where I would concentrate the most, thus propelling us towards the (paradoxically) more underground and deep genres that I would like to highlight, Footwork in particular, but also what lies towards deep electronic music with bass in general: Deep Dubstep, Jungle, Jersey, Techno, tech house, ghetto house etc. The choice of atmospheric layers would depend on the mood of the guest DJ and myself, as we never know where we might be (depending also on a certain recurrent demand for example, why not).

D'aussi loin qu'il s'en souvienne, Satprem est depuis toujours intéressé par l'art du mix dans les DJ set. Il considère ce médium comme un vecteur d'émancipation principal et l'art d'implanter en chacun un germe d'Amour à travers l'événement spectaculaire que forme le DJ Set. 
Après avoir rejoins la Finca, il co-fonde « Agapanthes » avec Sarab pour répondre à cet Art du mix comme d'une expérience immersive, totale et phénoménale, cela par le prisme de la Footwork et de la juke mais aussi par d'autres styles souvent commun a l'underground. Pour tenter l'expérience et en juger par vous-même, il ne reste plus qu'à venir ou d'écouter son projet "Atmospheres Show" pour la radio brooklynoise HalfMoonBk.
