Microcosmos Records is happy to announce Life Outside Dali, an album by the legendary electronic project Six Dead Bulgarians.

The project was created in 1995 in Arkhangelsk, Russia by Alexey Chulkov and Anton Kovalev. It originally was a noise project that brought together artists who created electronic-acoustic avant-garde music. For now, the producer of the project is Alexander Chulkov, Alexey’s brother. During its almost 30-year history, Six Dead Bulgarians has released twenty albums ranging from industrial noise and drone to chillout and Slavic folklore.

Life Outside Dali perfectly combines glitch samples, analog synth drones, acoustic instrumental improvisations, shamanic rhythms, and Russian folk songs into a solid steady sound flow. The music of the album takes the listener on a magical journey through subconscious. It is an invitation to trace the roots of Slavic culture origins and feel the connection to distant ancestors.

Turn on Life Outside Dali and dive into the enchanting universe of noise music, enjoy the soundscapes of analog synthesizers and the beauty of Russian folk songs, join a trancey shamanic dance to the music by the legend of Russian electronic stage, Six Dead Bulgarians, and Microcosmos Records.

The Fractalfest 2016 minimix series features 20 minute mixes from dj's & producers who will be playing at Fractaltribe's Fractalfest 2016. These mixes will be in the same style of music that each artist will be presenting.

Episode 20 features audiophile Chris Exeris aka Grains of Sound. A veteran of the Polish and German psychedelic music scene, Grains of Sound is well known for luscious trippy homemade soundscapes and is also a trusted member of the United States Psy community. His tastes and skills are rather wide, not holding himself back from exploring all sorts of sounds. Zen and relaxing, but also groovy and danceable. We have chosen for him to perform two sets at Fractalfest; one of original chillgressive tunes and one comprising of original psychill.

BIO:
Halfred is the culmination of years and years of aural exploration. Originally a drummer, the Italian born sonic warrior found his roots in drumming which led him to music production, along with a degree in electronic music production at SAE, in Milan. His eclectic approach makes it hard to categorize his music and this is partially due to the fact that his sound breaks the often repetitive mold of psy music, seamlessly taking the forms of dub, hiphop, drum n bass, garage, and world music and while staying true to his signature sound and focused on the micro details, he’s constantly experimenting with the squishy and granular side of psychedelic mid-tempo, drum and bass, dubstep, psybass and all things
psychedelic. During last years, he collaborated and remixed top notch artists like Desert Dwellers, Whitebear, Tribone, Zebbler Encanti Experience, Duffrey, Tryptich and had music released on labels such as Merkaba Music, Shanti Planti, Outtallectuals, Gravitas Recordings, Wakaan and more, as well as playing many festivals and nights in the European and North-American scene, such as Boom , Modem, Hadra, Shankra, Tribal Gathering, Own Spirit, Lost Theory, Isis Garden,Street Parade, Create Culture, Infrasound, Wormhole Wednesdays and Cosmic Sinergy Final Fridays.
