💧 Wasser ist Freiheit, das große Unbekannte, Kontrolle abgeben, Nicht-Wissen. Sich einlassen, obwohl man nicht sehen kann, was unter der Oberfläche liegt. Loslassen, also: Lieben wir. Fürchten wir. Beides. 

🚰 Aber keine Sorge, dafür sind wir jetzt da - flüssig, fest, gasförmig, als Eis, Schnee, Tropfen, Gischt, Dampf, Nebel, Tau und Reif. Der Verlängerte Atem, in wässrig, aber nicht verwässert.

In der ersten Folge des Radioprojekts HALLO Hajusom eröffnet sich ein lebendiger Einblick in die vielfältigen Stimmen der Kinder aus dem Kinderprogramm PARKS in Hammerbrook. Jasper spricht mit Matida über ihre ganz persönlichen Erfahrungen mit Nachbarschaft und dem Miteinander im Viertel. Kathi und Thea stellen außerdem ihre liebsten Lieder zum Thema vor. Die Folge lädt dazu ein, genauer hinzuhören, wie Kinder und Erwachsene ihre Umgebung wahrnehmen – und vielleicht auch selbst die eigene Nachbarschaft neu zu betrachten.

The word ‘Windowpecking’ describes the act of wandering through a city and becoming mesmerised by shop fronts and the windows of residential buildings and flats. Initially, the practice of ‘Windowpecking’ may be an act that occurs rather automatically when strolling around in unfamiliar areas. It is linked to the practice of drifting.

‘Windowpecking’ creeps its way into one’s walking, until one finally realizes that there is a pattern in the randomly occurring, unplanned paths one takes and their gaze remains glued to certain panes of glass and lingers.

Like a bird hammering on a window to request entry, ‘Windowpecking’ reminds us of the separation between internal and external, private and public, sidewalk and interior, of lantern light and bedside lamp.

Wagener's namesake series captures the fleeting encounters that occur on both sides of a window, between passersby and residents, in small-format paintings and a corresponding audio piece. Translucent figures appear behind the windows, taking on forms of everyday gestures as they are immersed in soft light. The glass both separates and allows for a temporary intimacy, leaving us in the in-between space: to detach ourselves and move on or to be longingly embraced by the world behind the windows.

In this podcast, artist Elena Victoria Pastor invites you behind the scenes of Reclaim the Stage, a workshop series that brought together dance, performance, and sound to explore self-expression beyond stereotypes. Through interviews with facilitators, the podcast documents the creative process, discoveries, and collective energy that shaped this journey.

The episode closes with "Wann", a powerful piece created by Mohadeseh during her mentorship.

Seit Mai 2025 erforscht das Radio gemeinsam mit dem Werkhaus Münzviertel in Workshops mit jungen Erwachsenen die Möglichkeiten des Radiomachens. Dabei entsteht eine Reihe von verschiedenen Radioformaten, die in den kommenden Monaten hier präsentiert werden.

Das Werkhaus Münzviertel ist ein niedrigschwelliges Angebot für wohnungslose oder von Wohnungslosigkeit bedrohte Jungerwachsene bis zum Alter von 27 Jahren, für die existierende Schulungs- und Sozialangebote ungeeignet sind. Es ist zugleich ein Ort des Anhaltens und Ankommens, insbesondere für Jungerwachsene, die aus ihren Herkunftsländern geflohen sind und sich z.B. im Asylverfahren befinden.

Ende Oktober haben wir zu einem offenen zweitägigen Radioworkshop in das Hajusom-Studio im Bunker an der Feldstraße eingeladen.
Gemeinsam mit Kindern aus der Nachbarschaft haben wir die Umgebung erkundet, sie haben Interviews geführt, Eindrücke und Klänge gesammelt und am Ende im Studio eine Sendung mitsamt Jingle, Musik und Gesprächen produziert.
