Hallowed Ground Records is proud to announce the latest project by London based producer Raiden,  Menace.  A dark descent into violence through aggressive and experimental hip hop and grime.

The EP begins with Reaper, featuring a mangled and distorted folk guitar sample that marches with a rampaging of drum line, looping and slowly dissipating into the more electronic sounds of Kabuki - a turbulent trip through trap and grime. Food is a swans influenced hip hop track with rampaging that morphs into a Rachel Sweet based beat. 

The highlight of the piece is Honeymoon / Sicko with swirling and unnerving samples anchored by a harsh dancehall rhytmn . The EP ends through an interlude to Door Knocker - a grime number.

Hallowed Ground Records is proud to present the new single from London based Replica, entitled Gunmetal.

Composed of two tracks, Gun is a grime sampling unorthodox techno chugger that’s anchored on the analogue oddities of the Arturia Microbrute. It evokes the griminess of the London rave, a transmission from times gone by, marshalled by rips of Wiley leading the crowd at Sidewinder. Metal is a deranged and mutating 8 minute electronic trip developed over 3 years, premiering in its primordial state on Patten’s NTS show.

The lead track is accompanied by a MUSIC VIDEO from moving image artist Stefan Iyapah, who also designed the cover art.
