"Time Goes By" grew up with me for 7 years. In 2017, it wanted desperately to sound like a sad, prog, Steven Wison-type track, but no matter how I finished it or played it, it didn't feel right. 

However, after leaving my band of 6 years, reflecting through a  COVID shutdown, and reframing the hook in a broken down songwriter feel, the new "Time Goes By" was born.

My biggest desire for "Time Goes By" is that someone lost in a comfortable routine finds this song and, if needed, it inspires them to make a change and pursue happiness.
