Halo is an aura that surrounds those regarded with amazement and wonder and the name is fitting for the newest Pop sensation that has emerged in the worlds of music and celebrity.  Latifah Lowery of Green Sea, SC began to explore her musical talents at the age of 16. Performing under the moniker Halo, Lowery has dreams to one day fill arenas and stadiums around the world. Increasing the Vibration on Earth is her purpose.. Always turning to music as a confidant, Halo is optimistic that her music will do the same for all who listen. 

A small town girl staying close to her humble beginnings, Halo is committed to being herself in an industry that is known for distorting artists’ identities. Joining the ranks of of artists including Willow Smith, Tracey Chapman,SZA, and Raury... Halo started her career as a rapper but her talent as a vocalist was undeniable. This has benefitted Halo in her artistry; by depending on both capabilities Halo has become a multidimensional artist creating a genre of music that is all her own. 

Not afraid to share her past, Halo is the true meaning of being a relatable artist and an empathetic person. Known for being genuine and compassionate by family and friends, Halo looks to impart those southern hospitalities she grew up on to her fans and the world. 

Staying committed to her craft, Halo follows the principles of listening, learning, and executing. She knows the turbulent and evolving nature of the music industry and that it requires her full dedication, and is determined to share her gifts with the world. As proof of her commitment Halo has already worked with some of music’s brightest producers: J Bar, K-Major, and Young Joc.

Halo has many goals for her budding career. She is currently developing her knowledge of production to continue to perfect her sound as an artist. She looks to one day take over the airwaves, scale the billboard charts, and earn music’s most prized award, the Grammy.  Along with the platform she plans to raise awareness and the ENTIRE the vibration of GAIA!

Halo will soon illuminate her light and sound around the world and with the release of her newest record “Faded,” a mid tempo dance track, she has already thrown her hat in the ring for the summer anthem of 2014. Currently Halo is in the final stages of recording and completing her first mix-tape of many. With her model-esque style and figure and hypnotizing voice, her supporters see her career expanding to the heights of hit makers Katie Perry and Rihanna. 

She has already gained support from celebrities including retired NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal, actress Gabrielle Union, world renowned musician Lenny Kravitz, and soon many more. If anyone has missed artists with individuality, spirit, and excitement the wait is over, Halo is here.
