Another Episode of Mixology, another piece of tech. This mix is the maiden voyage of a new tech acquisition of mine, Phase controllers. As much as I hate to admit it, they make serato and turntables sound soooo much more crisp than needles and control records. Long story short, I was very happy with how these performed, sounded, and glad to have picked a pair up finally. Shouts to Treee City for hooking up the kid!  

This episode I kept it slightly lower BPM for longer in the show, only ending at 120 with the last track. Some really great promo only remixes in here from folks like 20 Dolla Julio, Pickster One, DJ Pump, Autograf, and more. Got busy on the turntablism for this episode, felt much cleaner, but I was still just session-ing.

Mixology Episode Eleven Part One

Recorded at the Plaza del Parque in old town Ibiza while I was out there for a DJ summit a few weeks ago. Had a great time recording this and a funny thing happened while I was recording. A crowd began to gather around me as I was recording, the sound was not amplified at all, so it was curious that people would react to seeing me just rocking in the park w my headphones on. I guess my body language spoke louder than my headphones.
