Since the creation of this theme it's been over a year.. 
This is my experience of how much music is able to change the state of mind. You wrote about its ability to calm hearts, rejecting grief, diminish suffering and sorrow. Indeed, he dismissed also my fears. And on the thorny road of sadness started to appear sparkling lights of hope..

Chillout is the version I created for the film, which currently I can not say too much. It is a instrumental version, I used the vocals, piano, orchestral strings and ambient sounds.

After I travelled down so many roads the last couple of years I finally met this girl. 
To me she is beauty, she is inspiration, she is hope, she is love. She calls herself butterfly and since she fell in love with that song I dedicate it to her. So, this song is for you my butterfly, may you sit on my heart for a long and never forget how to fly !

I decided to remaster and edit the original track. I re-edited the cymbal builds, adding more of my own custom stuff, and some from the Evolve library. And I also added a solo violin playing a counter melody at the end.

When I initially saw this gate I thought of passing through it as if entering into a different world and so is the music...

This Version is my first cross instrumental collab on SC and I feel very honoured that Lyod put all his passion and feel into this song to let this song become a wonderful journey beginning right behind the gate entering into a strange and mystical world of sound....

This reflective, tuneful album is a collection of beautiful piano music written and performed by Ola Gjeilo. His music is a blend of jazz, classical and popular music influences, married in a unique and passionate style. 'Scenes from the four seasons' is a collection of unreleased tracks and b-sides from 2012, running through the four seasons and stopping at some intimate moments in Winter, a tranquil evening in Autumn, two seaside scenes between Spring and Summer. 

I decided to have all these tracks together in this collection not only because of the common theme, but above all because, when I started working on my first modern classical album, that will be released later this year, I didn't want to left all these works incomplete, even if they were mostly expression of ideas and style still imperfect and evolving.

However I'm sure you'll find a moment of peace and tranquillity in these notes, and even some passages that represents your life during the seasons, an intimate moment, as when you're at home and the snow starts falling in winter, or when you first see the seaside in spring.

Themes of desire, passion, limerence, romantic love, idolatry, jealousy, envy, loss, regret, forgiveness, acknowledgment, appreciation, acceptance, and eventually glimpses of true understanding permeate the work.
