The Mandalavandalz touch down on Earth long enough to leave us with their third twisted masterpiece.
This intense collage of sounds has been conjured up from deep within the minds of the Finish duo,
and presented as is, served only with a garish of fresh mushrooms, or perhaps a cup of tea.

The pair, already well familiar to the world as Texas Fagott, and have already given us their previous two albums as Mandalavandalz,
in the form of Hong Kong Nightlife and the twisted Kamikaze.
This third album is the result of many influences from their recent journies,
taking all the cultures and traditions they致e been experiencing, and brewing it up in their studio in Goa,
India. They believe with this release they have pushed trance beyond trance itself!

Brace yourself as Halluciano Powerotti and Tomo Tomatoeyes bring to you the sounds of the Chapora Nightlife.

Anyone who bemoans the 砥npsychedelic・nature of current psytrance would be well advised to check this out.
In fact, calling this 叢sychedelic・is a bit of an understatement,
rather like suggesting that Angelina Jolie has a mouth 途easonably adequate・for performing fellation.
The bastard son of Texas Faggot, Mandalavandalz・music is fast, frenetic, deranged,
hyper-ritalin trance recorded in (checks inlay) 敵oa.・Wherever that is.
Wnd while most night-time music professes to be 都cary・ this is Jack Nicholson hacking thru your bathroom door,
while everything else is more like an episode of the X-Files. BPM痴 are fast, and usually changing.
No breakdown lasts longer than about a bar. On Roller Gauze, Typ10ly and Do You Read Me,
there痴 so much frenetic bouncing going on that it痴 hard to keep track.
Hotrny Goa Teen Pimps is pornographic both in its worryingly squelch camples,
and in its unforgiving mushroom-nightmare synths. Mata痴 Medical Story is twisted ge nius,
and Monkeywalium is a deliciously abhorrent slab of amyl-house. Top of the heap though has to be Raggare,
a rolling Funland-amusement-park indie-jazz-rock, east-cheats-west egg and cress sandwich.
Whether viewed as an album or as a vaguely postmodern artistic comment on Something (matters not what),
this is utter visionary brilliance. Rating 9 of 10

ld school Suomisaundi and Finnish funkedelic disco electronica pioneers Haltya are back with another release for your pleasure: Japan Anime Punk Sessions EP, recorded in the spring of 2012 while toying around with the idea of an imaginary virtual anime band. Better known for their trademark Scandinavian funky psychedelia, this one-off concept EP shows that the band takes having fun very seriously. Like the title of the EP suggests, the release is nothing short of a playful sound-kiss full of youth and influences from Japanese anime punk, 70′s funk leads, heavy radio compression, and video games, bringing back some long lost innocence with a fun, naive approach to childlike psychedelic soundscapes.

Kick-off tracks “Överture” and “Hiro In The Sky With Diamonds” were recorded shortly after the departure of Japanese Suomisoundi main man Hiro-san AKA DJ Sharaku into the great unknown. A few years back, while Tommi was staying at his house near mount Fuji as a guest, Hiro had given Tommi some Japanese vocal acapella samples and asked, “maybe possible make track?” These two tracks are the result and are dedicated to our beloved friend Hiro-san may he rest in peace. The track “Breakfast In Japan” features influences from Japanese food, 8-bit style game sounds and Amiga-era chip music with a fast steady neo-punkish riddim-grip. To make it extra punk-ish and colorful, the release tops it off with an experimental free-jazz jam featuring Tommi on the grand piano.

All tracks written, amateur-duced, and must-heard by Tommi Sirkiä @ on the road and at Haltya Sound Studio in Helsinki, Finland.
