So, here is another 138bpm-ish rework of an old 90's piano classic "San Trancisco" by Punchanella. Recreated the pianos in Ableton, ripped the vocal from the original and based it on Bryan Kearneys class reworks. This wasn't to be the final version but my hand was forced to upload this one as the USB holding the Ableton file corrupted ! Enjoy!

Here is my unofficial update of an absolute classic from the 90s. This started out as a trance mix, but just fit much better at 126bpm using the classic m1 house sounds and loads more pianos! Vocal isn't the cleanest but was the best I could do. Enjoy!

Billie Ray Martin - Your Loving Arms (DJ Hammy 2022 Rework)

Here is my unofficial 138bpm trance tribute to this brilliant track from 1992 by Ultrasonic, now with rolling basslines and arpeggios!  Recreated the original ravey pianos as best I could as well (2nd breakdown). Vocal was extracted from the original track, so isn't the cleanest, but the tune has some nice moments. Enjoy!

Here is my simple but bangin' tribute to the classic 90s track, with the pianos, vocals and pads at the very forefront of the track. It uses the same formula as my Baby D mix (first time I ever used one of my own mixes as a reference!!). Also includes a partial Amen breakbeat sequence in the last breakdown which goes so so well with the M1 pianos! Enjoy!

Rozalla - Everybody's Free (DJ Hammy 2023 Rework)

I first put together this bootleg around ten years ago in Acid Pro. It has the music and lovely chords of KMC feat. Dhany - "I Feel so Fine" with the rap of Jungle Brothers - "I'll House You". Today I recreated a louder and crisper version in Ableton Live.

These two tracks were ones that I used to mash together live on vinyl back in the late 90s/ early 00s (after being absolutely mindblown seeing it done live first by Cork's Jonathan O'Connor). Fast forward twenty years and I got the idea to attempt a housey mix of Love Stimulation, which evolved into this bootleg. Getting good feedback so making it public. Nice and chuggy at 125bpm and as always featuring the M1 piano - Enjoy!

Here is my 126bpm rework of one of my all time favourite rave tracks of the very early 90s. It started as an idea - what would a tech house mix of this classic 1991 rave / jungle track sound like?  I used oneshot synth samples, acapellas, and even short bits of the original track spliced in for the transitions before the breaks. 
The result came out better than I expected. Hopefully you enjoy as much as I enjoyed putting it together!

Urban Shakedown - Some Justice (DJ Hammy 2023 Bootleg)

OK, finally got around to finalising and putting this out. Its a simple piano house mix that I made of The Dawn (my favourite track ever) with the epic vocals of Kathy Brown over the top like the trancier bootleg of the late 90s. It went down well at a live gig back in October, so just tweaked and cleaned up a bit. Mastered as best I could by me too. Enjoy!

Settled on a simple but bouncy tech house style after watching a Pirupa video... When it got to the breakdown, I just had to drop that "Playing With Knives" progression! Enjoy!

So asked by my nephew just last week "could you do anything with Paul Van Dyk?", I started pondering, what would a piano house mix of For an Angel sound like? Here is the result! Lots of Korg M1 and 909 sounds here. Using the Rachel McFarlane vocal (which isn't the cleanest),I lo-fi'd the rest of the track to give an old vinyl rip feel. Self mastered using Ozone. So this started with the discovery of a cover accapella (from Youtube!!) of DJ Sammy's / Bryan Adams' Heaven, that then turned into a fun 2nd collaboration between me and Belfast's Decky Scott. We also included a cut up Rhythm Master's sample "Front to the Back" to add some extra energy. Has racked up over 10k views on Orryy's Youtube channel in four days, so it's about time I posted it! So, about three years back, I uploaded an unfinished Bryan Kearney style rework of this awesome 90s classic,  because I had lost the the project file to a corrupt USB. A few weeks back, I went at it again and recreated the melodies and chords from scratch, this time turning it into a 140bpm classic trance-style stomper. Thanks to Liam Wilson and Teach Me Production for helping me beef this one up. I was saving this for 2025, but decided to drop it early while everyone is on their hols! :)

This one began as a happy hardcore mix in 2019, before i went back at it a few months ago, when I tried a few things and found some sweet spots. Rap vocal is from Floorfilla. Thanks for some post production to Liam WIlson and Teach Me Production. PS - This is pitched up a semi tone for obvious reasons!

So, Colour of my Dreams was one of my favourite eurodance songs from the 90s, always on MTV! I started this mix in May 2022, in a slaphouse style, after hearing Mike Candy's class mix of Move on Baby by Cappella. Finally finished it off after getting a very clean vocal from acapellasuk.uk (THANKS DAN!). The sweet spot for me is the M1 piano part at the 2nd break :) Hope you enjoy!

Latest one is another bootleg remix of one of my favourite trance tunes of all time - Rodd-y-ler Lifesigns. Using Yotto's Heartbeat as a reference, this came together very quick to become a 128bpm chuggy and chilled progressive number that eventually melts away into THAT big crunchy lead. Enjoy!

Scooter - Endless Summer (DJ Hammy 2020 Trance Rework)

Here is my house version of a classic Bob Marley track. This was unfinished on my hard drive since 2019, so after tons of tweaks, I've finally decided to put a line under it and publish it, so I can move on :) The main chorus is all that is sampled from the original, and I used mainly the Korg M1 sounds for the synths / pianos etc. The guitar pluck has a balearic feel. Enjoy!

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Three Little Birds (DJ Hammy House Rework)

Cork-based DJ & producer, active on the Irish scene from the late '90s to mid-2000s. Cut his teeth with legendary residencies at Doyles and The Catwalk Bar, while holding down regular slots on the city’s infamous pirate stations: Kiss FM, Klub FM and Radio Friendly. Life took over and the decks went quiet in 2005.


Fast-forward to 2019 and the fire was reignited. Armed with a studio full of new ideas, Hammy returned with a string of bootlegs and edits that quickly built a loyal following on SoundCloud, blending peak-time house and uplifting trance with that unmistakable Cork energy.


Since 2022 he’s been a regular fixture behind the decks at Edison Cork, bringing the same raw, crowd-moving selections that made him a name back in the day.


Releases on Lefty Shades Records, BLINDsided, Mumbler Music and Cleveland City followed, but it was April 2025 that changed everything: Bryan Kearney dropped Hammy’s “Area 51 Epidemic” bootleg live, sending the internet into meltdown and pushing follower counts through the roof. The demand led to an official rework released as "DJ Hammy – Epidemic 2025" on Cleveland City Records.


Next up: his debut original trance single “Free Yourself” on Positive State Records – a euphoric, hands-in-the-air statement of intent from a producer who never really left, he just took the scenic route back.
