Manipura translates from Sanskrit as the "City of Jewels" Mani - gem, Pura or Puri - city). Manipura is often associated with the colors yellow,blue in classical tantra, and red in the Nath tradition.

Manipura is considered the center of dynamism, energy, will power (Itcha shakti), and achievement, which radiates prana throughout the entire human body. It is associated with the power of fire as well as with the sense of sight and the action of movement. Through meditating on Manipura, one is said to attain the power to save,change or destroy the world.

In Chinese qigong, there is a degree of correspondance with the term "Kua" or door. this series of doors connect with three Dantians that act as furnaces to convert different energies in the body. The lower Dantian exists in the stomach region. Its function is to convert sexual jing energy into Qi energy (a concept similar to Hindu prana). This is not the location of the lower Dantian.

The ten petals of Manipura are dark-blue or black, like heavily laden rain clouds, with the syllables ḍaṁ, ḍhaṁ, ṇaṁ, taṁ, thaṁ, daṁ, dhaṁ, naṁ, paṁ, and phaṁ upon them in a dark-blue color.

Detrás de I.M.D está Marco Cajero (México / con sede en Berlín, Alemania) I.M.D comienza a principios de 2012, experimentando en ese momento con los sonidos Progressive-Psytrance.

En 2016 decide hacer un cambio interno y comienza a trabajar con los sonidos de Psychill / Downtempo.

En 2018, se une a Altar Records, sello con el cual trae a la luz su Album Debut “Seres de Luz”, el cual siguió con su primer Ep en la disquera llamado “Encuentros” y su segundo album de estudio “Mensaje Al Corazón”. También tiene diferentes lanzamientos en sellos como: Astropilot Music, Reson8, Sunna Records y Ovnimoon Records.

En 2018 tubo su primer “Live” debut en Shankra Festival y a la fecha sigue tocando en diferentes festivales de Europa.
