Having released their latest album, FLOTUS, in November to critical acclaim including 'Albums of the Year' mentions in publications such as MOJO, Uncut, The Guardian and The Times; Lambchop is a Band have shared their cover of Prince's iconic 'When You Were Mine', recorded by the band's new live line up featuring Wye Oak's Andy Stack.

The track continues Kurt Wagner's exploration of R&B themes on FLOTUS with an underpinning current of subtle echoes and flourishing piano lines. The many moving parts are tied together by Wagner's skewed and distorted vocals to create a beautiful and intriguing take on the much covered track that stands it in a realm of its own.
