HAMMAHOUSE FACTS:

Originally from Amsterdam. I was there in the early 90's when House and Techno were emerging from the underground. That sound blew me away and I started to make my own beats when I was 13. Got myself a sampler. The infamous Roland W 30 - a fave of Prodigy's Liam Howlett.

My first taste of success came in 2000 when I released Hammer House - The Jumper which hit the charts worldwide. I merged the melody of a famous Destiny's Child song with an infectious dance beat and off it went. Featured on countless compilations Worldwide. A fave of DJ Jean, the Klubbheads and many more!

The Jumper was an early draft of which ultimately became the signature HAMMAHOUSE style. HAMMAHOUSE blends elements from hip Hop, house, techno and trance altogether into one.

HAMMAHOUSE is heavy on the DRUMZ by Definition. Lots of syncopated BEATZ going on. Slow or faster.. the tempo doesn't matter that much. I LOVE Weird Sounds and you'll hear plenty in my Productions. Always making sure these sounds blend seamlessly with the vocals.

Remixes for Snoop Dogg, The Roots and Mariah Carey were in high demand. All stemming from remix competitions. The Snoop Dogg remix was voted 2nd place out of 1500+ entries worldwide. Then got awarded and honorable mention by Snoop Dogg himself. The remix for The Roots was one of the winners and the remix for Mariah Carey is still one of the most talked about.

Other styles are safe w/me as well. Trance remixes for Jamaster A got very successful and released on Liquid records and 2Play.

Next to the HAMMAHOUSE venture I was co-founder of Airmass Music. Airmass was a successful dance label from Holland. We released a string of 12"es which were faves among the world's DJ elite. Armin van Buuren, Yves Deruyter, Marco V, E Craig, Judge Jules and Graham Gold were all among our supporters.

Since 2006 I own the HAMMAHOUSE Recording Studio located in South Seattle. Yet, HAMMA is currently residing in Vancouver BC.

Last but bot least: I PERFORM LIVE. I bring the real deal when it comes to gear. Imagine a Live PA where I tweak a stack of legendary drum machines and synthesizers on the fly. Expect a heavy dose of techno and acid house. Freakin all night long and sure to get ur crowd movin!
