"Exodus" is the soundtrack for the new generation of genre-bending dance choreography by Hammerstep. Combining elements of hip hop, trap, and electronic music, Exodus fuels the choreographical representation of a departure from the status quo... a shedding of social norms and a movement towards unified cultural resistance.

Hammerstep x Golden Child - EXODUS

The Hammerstep Initiative, founded by two-time solo World Champion Irish dancer Garrett Coleman and former lead of Riverdance Jason Oremus, is forever changing the face of dance. Formed in 2009, the Brooklyn, NY based crew’s raw and percussion-driven approach to artistic expression draws from various types of dance - Irish, tap, hip hop, African stepping, and others - and is presented to the public through heavy beats, cutting edge technology, and provocative themes. The Hammerstep Movement is about more than just entertainment, however...It aims to be the modern day seedling of a unified cultural movement. 

One component to that effort is acting as an alternative media source. This channel will serve as a platform for the Hammerstep movement to convey ongoing initiatives to the public. Hammerstep radio podcasts will be centered around developments at the Hammerstep Headquarters (HSHQ) in Brooklyn, NY, updates on the Hammerstep crew, rehearsals, collaborations, and dialogues on current events and happenings in the community.
