Vidushi Dr. Hamsini Nagendra is a child PRODIGY, who started her career, performing a successful concert at the age of twelve. Having been trained by the doyens of Karnatak Music and with the encouragement of her Parents, she has secured a name for herself in the Music cercle for her melodious voice, rich Manodharma, adherence to tradition, good LAYAJNANA and so on. Being an “A” GRADE Artiste of All India Radio and Doordarshan and a DOCTORATE in Music, she has been performing all over the Country and has won appreciations from Music Scholars as well as, Rasikas. Presently, she is working as an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF MUSIC in Bangalore University. In short, she is an all rounder as a good Performer, Teacher, Researcher, Writer, Composer and an Organiser.
