Yep, I love all of the ambient room sounds in here. :)

Love all the raw sounds of the room (clicking pedals, little clicks on the guitar strings, etc...). Music made by a human being in actual space.

Part of my "finish what you start" series. 

This began in the usual manner: an improvisational jam using bunch of gear running into Ableton Live: 

Octatrack
Korg EMX
Yamaha PSS 680
Electric guitar 

After recording my freakout session, I cut it down into a structure I liked. Then I added vocals (my original improv vocals weren't to my liking this time) and a little extra keyboard stuff.

This song is based on a dream I had last week.

Whiskey Headache

This is an edit of a 'live' improvisation recorded on March 25, 2015. I used an Octatrack, Korg EMX-1, Yamaha PSS-680, electric guitar and my voice. Everything was recorded into Ableton in one live session and then edited. 

I did not try to remain faithful to the flow of the original improvisation.  I treated it more like a narrative - things were cut and tweaked to fit the story.

Here's a track from a project I will probably never finish. It is called "The Body is Evidence of the Spirit" and it's all stuff like this: field recordings, light synth stuff and abused samples.

Wrestled with this for a longer time than usual. This track beat me down hard. Time to admit defeat and move the fuck on.
