Guilherme VAC uses his Brazilian swing to create very distinctly and exquisites sounds of electronic music. His love for MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) productions is directly influenced by it, can easily be identified by the classic vocals and organic percussions combined with the electronic sounds. A formula that has been proving very efficient. Pleasing critics, producers, and captivating audiences.

In partnership with Adan Sharif, VAC integrates “BRASIL com S”, a project inspired by Brazilian music, together they bring their artistic identities in a wide range of rhythms and audiences.

Resident at DIMENS10.tv and of the german label SERIALISM RECORDS, Guilherme is also CoFounder of BOLI. An artistic nucleus that promotes quality parties and good music. He is also responsible for the idealization of several projects, such as festivals, parties, record labels, and innovative visual, structural, and scenography activities and providing consulting to events.

Berlin-based DJ and producer Niccolò Turini (Pisa, class ‘95) bring us a fresh house track “I Come From Deep Space”, filled with tension, echoing percussions, an aggressive bassline groove and ambient pads that fill the mix with radiating cosmic waves and nostalgic atmospheres. Rico Casazza, London based producer, film sound designer and DJ counting 11 years of activity in the electronic music scene brings this EP’s title track to the next level with a faster-paced remix: alien vocal stabs, precise cymbals and a tense, fat bass give even more dancefloor impact to the already explosive Niccolò’s title track. 

Rico finally concludes the EP with “Chicago Shuffle Drive”, a clean, magnetic Chicago House track that shows the artist’s sensibility for precise sound design, shimmering hats and meticulously placed stab synth percussions. The “I Come From Deep Space” EP will be released on Linea Records: a newborn record label born in an international collaboration between Berlin and Pisa, highlighting young talents that create innovative records, morphing together the classic elements of techno, house and electro dancefloor bangers into new, experimental styles of sounds borrowing from IDM, Ambient and Downtempo.

As the Summer draws to a close Serge Devant returns once more to Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels with the highly infectious ‘This Moment’ EP. Serge original tracks are accompanied by a great Dinky remix, to complete this great package.

Opening up the EP with ‘This Moment’, Devant has created a track that implores the listener to stop and take in all the vibrations, effects and melodies. This is a piece of music that intricately weaves together a hefty bass, curious sounds and an addictive horn. Pay close attention to ‘In Time’ and you will be absorbed once more in an enchanting world where all you can do is follow the rhythm of the drums. On the flip and Dinky adds her signature vocals, and hooky synth stabs creating a deep and textural remix of ‘This Moment’.

Dimensions is Degray’s third release on Parse Audio, where he continues to deliver truly sophisticated dark techno. The prevalent elements of this Barcelona-based producer’s music are deep, tight kick drum, reserved use of sound elements and truly hypnotic vibe which draws you into his introspective vortex.  

This mysterious aura can be heard on the first two tracks of Dimensions as well.

Dimension Y rolls out in a hypnotic techno beat which is working with slow development and suspension rather than smothering the listener with too much stimulus. Close your eyes and let yourself be led by the kick and elevate up to the subtle synth heights.

Dimension X has a bouncier beat, but is still underlined by eerie ambient hisses - so gentle, yet present.   Degray tends to set off the individual sounds and give them space, so they can gradually impact the listener and be appreciated in their timbre and emotional effect they have on one’s mind. This is especially the case of the last track of the EP, Dimensions. It starts and ends with the mysterious depth coming from the sounds of a dark synthesizer, which is later accompanied by a slow beat of weltering waves until it slowly dissolves far, far away.

The 5th release on BLKMARKET MUSIC comes from Scumdolly entitled ‘Making Ends Meet’ in the format of two separate vinyl. 

Changing Room One and Changing Room Two are tracks that were made around seventeen years ago and never saw an official release. Scumdolly is an alias of Craig Richards, an artist we admire 
and are really hyped to work with.  

The tracks feature new remixes by Subb-an & Adam Shelton, Taimur & Alexander Gentil, and Rhadoo. 

On Vinyl One [BLKMUSIC 004.1] The A side features Making Ends Meet (Changing Room One), which is an original breakbeat version by Craig Richards that comes with with a twisted remix by Birmingham’s Subb-an & Adam Shelton on the B side. 

On Vinyl Two [BLKMUSIC 004.2] The A side features Making Ends Meet (Changing Room Two), which is a 2nd original version by Craig Richards that is more four on the floor on the A1. On the A2 Taimur & Alexander Gentil deliver a driving New York style remix. On the B side Romania’s Rhadoo delivers his version with a more minimalistic approach to the track.
