you made your guitar sound like an old honky tonk piano.  my phone is very insistent that I wanted to say honky tank.  I think it was right... quite fun to say honky tank.

@ttuttle: You're right, Todd.  The piezo does emphasize the upper-midrange tones.  Also, part of what you're hearing is the sound of the third bridge--I used a piece of oak (one half of a set of "rhythm bones", actually) which is curved in such a way as to impart a sitar-like buzz.  I have made several promises to photograph and share this setup online, so I'd better take care of that this weekend!  Stay tuned.

This is inspiring work Hank. I am going to make a moveable bridge today for my 11 string and see where that gets me...

I am liking the evolution of this sound Hank. Wonderfully acoustic!  I do envision the upcoming animated film version of this with the young maestro and his homemade orchestral gadgetry somehow saving the world.
