STARKA; immunocompromised raver; one of those people at the club dancing hard and wearing a mask; one of those people often dreaming about what could be better and what is missing

What was your inspiration for this mix:
My favorite dance mixes are energizing, genre-spanning, and playful at times - they ebb and flow, hold your attention, and keep you on your toes. This mix captured my take on that back in November 2023, and still very much resonates with what I’m most drawn to coming into 2025.

Advice to the new upcoming DJs:
Only play tracks you absolutely loveeee. Focus on the music and the accessibility of the space. Find the people and the music that resonate the most with you and focus on them.

What's next for you in 2025?:
Prioritizing finding a home or two to throw more editions of Mutualism, a mask-required dance party I co-organize
Co-launching a mix series revolving around the theme of care
Trying to more deeply align my actions and time with my values and goals
