Introducing our next Sister of Sound - IRIS

Malaysian born Berlin based, her passion for electronic music was ignited whilst she lived in Mebourne / Naarm, Australia. Her first steps into this scene as she frequented clubs like Survivor! And Revolver Upstairs imprinted an ever-lasting place in her heart for genres such as techno, tech house and acid house.

Years down the line she found her way to her first psytrance festival, which led to a whole new world of inspiration that came with the beauty of natural landscapes and festival dance floors. After travelling through the world, and connecting with the music of different places and cultures, her journey into DJ-ing began in Berlin.

Here's an opening set I played at the poolside stage for a friend's birthday in December last year, 12-2pm. Things start off easy, ramp up quickly, then chill out again a bit in the middle - I realised it was only 1pm 🙃🤣 - and then pick up again for the last bit. Was a treat to be able to test out a bunch of new tunes and play some familiar favourites for a bunch of my good mates!

A huge congratulations to Caly, Damon, Lucy and the rest of our fellow CR Crew. It has been such an honor and privilege to be a part of Circadian Rhythms since launch some 4 years ago. I cannot help but feel a sense of pride and love for my fellow family and community for coming so far and holding such important space. For me, this set is one of my favourite Downtempo sets, adding to the weekend I'll never forget. It was a pleasure to greet new faces and welcome more to the crew. I am so deeply grateful for the friends I call family, thankyou for supporting us.

This set is dedicated to the best boy to have ever lived, Kobi. A larger than life Doggo, Circadian Rhythms Co-founder and pillar of our community. We could not have made it without him, rest in power brother.

Kosmozoo Barrio is a sound camp at Nowhere in Spain since 2017. Nowhere is the biggest burner gathering in Europe every year. Nowhere, it's always an extraordinary journey. This is a real old-school festival adventure and probably not for the faint-hearted! Modeled on the iconic Burning Man festival and set in the Spanish desert, Nowhere promotes self-reliance and cooperation to foster art, music and having a great time.
