A song to reminisce and reflect on old 8 bit computer games. using a chip emulator to re-create sounds of the 80's and 90's this track takes you through a journey, maintaining momentum and interest right until the end.

8 Bit Kicks

Using only a chip Emulator for this, and thus re-creating 8 bit sounds, it gives a unique and retro feel. The title was inspired by Duelling Banjos which I love, but as I have used 8 bit sounds and emulators of chips used in several Ataris and also the lead synth parts sound like they would be played on a keytar, the word keytari was born and the title Duelling Keytaris was chosen.

Hannah Jones is an English composer and producer influenced by many eclectic genres including 80's electro, Rock, Jazz, and classical as well as world music. She has been writing music from an early age and went on to obtain a degree in Popular Music & Recording, specialising in composition and performance. She enjoys writing Electronic and classical tracks, with the occasional merging of both genres.
