Scrolling captures the surreal 'days without end' feeling of the first few weeks of lockdown. This was unfamiliar territory for all of us and Hannah felt that days blended into one. Going into lockdown, we made many plans and sometimes those plans would just dissolve into scrolling through our phones, reading about other peoples’ lives instead of focusing on our own. In her debut single Hannah set out to capture the mood of the moment and find expression for some of her emotions she was experiencing herself.

Teeth in the water is about working shift to shift, hustling and never knowing if you’re gonna get a chance. Some people promise you the world but end up being sharks, circling around seeing what they can bite off. In a world where everything seems commodified, creativity can be stifled if not cultivated and supported.
