"Jesus, Hold the Children" is a song that I wrote for the children of the world. I was praying through my sponsorship Compassion International prayer guide and was overwhelmed by the needs of children all over the world. In addition to wanting this song to inspire people to be like Jesus and to give to the cause of children, I also wrote this song to stir hearts in the body of Christ to pray for them, just as the prayer guide stirred my heart. I hope this song will  continue to be used internationally, in greater ways, as an agent of prayer and provision for the children of the world. It is my prayer that God would use this song in the body of Christ to truly help us live out His love.
