To get away from the cold winter in Berlin i went up to the mountains of himachal Pradesh in northern india where it was even colder. I met up with musicians from around the world and got inspired to write new songs. I wrote this song in Icelandic, based on a poem that my mother had sent me a few days before my arrival.

I wrote this song sitting in the sofa-room in my grandparents flat in Reykjavik. The sun was shining trough the window and I just got in to this really nice mood that carried the song away to a warm place by the ocean.
