We are reasonable people. This is why we have given you a chance to pause for breath. Which frankly, was much needed after the 8 collaborative beauties we have delivered so far on EPs I & II.

Staggering these, er, staggering Decade EP releases to give you ample time to digest fully the magnitude of the creativity so far felt like the right thing to do, but resting on our laurels for too long is just not in our DNA, so here we go again, comrades. Here are tracks 9-12 in Selador’s relentless charge to dominate this thing we call clubland through 2023.

Nurse, my pills! This is getting crazy, as another Selador stalwart, the man like Darksidevinyl, teams up with label debutant Rancido for this high-octane slice of melodic afro jackery-pokery that stomps like a herd of thirsty wildebeest spotting a desert oasis. Humungous.

Stelios Vassiloudis x Just Her: ‘Weightless’
Guess who’s back, back again? Yep, after a quick half marathon between studio sessions, Just Her joins forces with another long-time label friend, the inimitable Stelios Vassiloudis, for a unique slice of rulebook-trashing, quirky organic techno with Claire’s wondrous vocal to the fore. Heavenly.

Since his debut EP (Stars) for Bedrock was met with huge critical acclaim at the tail end of last year, the clamour and anticipation for another instalment from Hannes Bieger has reached fever pitch and, at last, the wait is over. The masterful Berlin-based producer returns with an absolute treasure, titled A Million Souls, featuring the stunning vocals of Francesca Lombardo, and yet another example of his spine-tingling electronic wizardry in the form of Echelon.

While his current singles „Bora | Sandburg“ are still fresh, well positioned in the Beatport charts and graces a lot of DJ playlists at the moment, our labelboss provides us with more musical goodies in these hard times. While the titletrack „Planet Earth“ takes us into the realm of modern electro and should make us think about our environment, the second track „March of the giants“ shows exactly what Solee is known for: Taking us on a journey with big basslines, expansive synths, deep atmospheres and makes us dream with some heartbreaking melodies. Having continued to raise the creative bar ever higher with his recent A Million Souls (BEDDIGI146) collaboration with the amazingly talented Francesca Lombardo, that was supplemented with an equally amazing downtempo Dub version highlight on John Digweeds recent Quattro (BEDQUATCD) mix compilation, Hannes Bieger knew his next Bedrock EP had to continue to push his inspiration even further and he has delivered magnificently.

His previous collaboration with Juan Hansen, the stunning Stars (BEDDIGI129) and its huge reception, meant that it was inevitable that their highly creative paths would cross again. A supremely talented composer/musician/vocalist, Juan is rapidly becoming legendary in the clubs of Argentina, guided by an exemplary ethos of mixing genres. His gentle voice is the perfect juxtaposition to Hannes drama-tinged composition.

Whereas the recent, critically acclaimed, Pele (Awesome Soundwave) album gave Hannes the freedom to explore more loose, raw and trippy, sometimes ambient musical concepts, the inherent discipline necessary to create the supremely focused club tracks for this new EP was a welcome and enjoyable change and it shows.

The essential genius of lead track Burn Your Love lies in the juxtaposition of Juan Hansens heart-melting, mellow, 60s West Coast vibed vocal performance with the music composition Hannes trademark layers of dramatic, hypnotic analogue synth magic, bedded on a perfectly dynamic, hip-swinging groove.

For the less vocally inclined, Ashes continues the instrumental production masterclass, pushing boundaries, as Hannes continues to explore his vision of the Bedrock sound, creating his distinctive brand of expertly designed melodic Techno, based around his classic kit: Minimoog, Moog Modular and Roland TB-303. It is, quite simply, a perfect finale to a most exceptional EP.

As we round out what has been a year for the books, our first release for 2021 is a celebration for Fabrication who through thick and thin has shined through and laid his incredible stamp on the music industry around the world.

Fabrication delivers Hot Foot with what feels like an endless progression of energy, through his ability to balance a fluid like energy across the board with every single element that goes into his music. The original packs a pounding rhythm equipped with blissful melodies and a few cheeky hidden samples, strong on the peak time dance floor vibes.

To accompany the original we have Australian electronic music royalty on board for remix duties, Jamie Stevens and Anthony Pappa! The lads have put together a classic progressive number reflective of their long-lasting experience and time refining their craft.
