After their first joint venture crystallized in the form of a remix by Toni for one of Oliver’s tracks, Berliner Toni Dextor releases his first full EP on Adroit Recordings, with Deutschmann on remix duties.

‚Complex' spells trouble from the get go: heavy drums, a dynamic, straightforward bassline and a simple yet effective melody captivate instantly, showcasing Toni’s ability to produce dancefloor anthems. 'Type X' follows in the same vein, albeit a bit on the more restrained side. It unfolds confidently into another heavy hitter perfect for peak time. 'Type A', on the other hand, offers a more explorative groove, firmly set atop a winding bassline and armed with similarly weighty drums. Oliver Deutschmann takes on 'Type X', adding more suspense via brooding pads and razor-sharp cymbal crashes, making for a less aggressive yet still compelling arrangement.

Ricardo Garduno is one of Mexico’s most notable techno artists and here he introduces a new label project simply called Thoughts. that appears to be a vessel strictly for his own material and that comes with cassette releases as well as digital.

The Illegal Alien boss has released his music on other labels such as ANAØH, Northallsen, Nachtstrom Schallplatten or can be found collaborating with Submerge, Aleja Sanchez as well as remixing Charlotte de Witte.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the closing track from the EP called “Strange Human Beings” that has a sc-fi feel using looping background tones to create a melancholic tension. The sparse and imaginative groove is lit up with flashes of contrasting yet abstract, modular stabs that make up the prominent and experimental hook.

EPM Music are based in the UK and have an impressive list of artists in their roster including Robert Hood aka Floorplan, Mark Broom, Truncate, Paul Mac, Dan Curtin, James Ruskin and many more.

Bryan Chapman is from Southern England and runs the Monotony imprint while also appearing on quality labels like Dustin Zahn’s Enemy Records, Ricardo Garduno’s Illegal Alien and Cari Lekebusch’s H-Productions as he introduces his new EP Ròta that draws its title from Norse mythology.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Kofan” that has a menacing feel straight out the gate. Edgy and hypnotic stabs create the abstract hook surrounded by other layers and fine touches of sound that keep it driving forward. The powerful track later adds more bleeping tones to the unrelenting style it beholds, and being one that seasoned techno heads will happily get lost in its mechanical aesthetic.

The first night was a massive success and the rest is now history. 15 years later Hans Bouffmyhre is an established artist within the worldwide techno scene. Having released music on some of the worlds most esteemed techno labels like Soma Records, Electric Deluxe, Perc Trax, Suara and others. Meanwhile his own label Sleaze Records goes from strength to strength, firmly stapled as one of the best techno labels in the UK.

Hans has been lucky enough to play regular DJ sets at some of the biggest and most well known clubs in the world, from the infamous Berghain in Berlin, to Melkweg in Amsterdam, Rex Club in Paris, Sub Club in Glasgow amongst many others. He is known for bringing a raw, hypnotic and energetic style.
