A nostalgic moment started by playing around E flat while in an improvisation mood. I had no idea what kind of melody to make, but the feeling of certain keys was strong and let me play eventually this piece of music in the key of G minor.
How nice to make music by improvisation and by playing it in an intuitive way.

Sunlight can be harsh, but will be softened by an early morning or a late afternoon.

Music can also have the capability to soften minds and thoughts, and even slow down temporarily the way of living, to make it more relaxed and enjoyable.

A vibrant flow of colors, that's how ho describe a rainbow. But nobody knows what's beyond of it...maybe a pot of gold, or maybe another treasure.
The musical flow of notes can also form a kind of rays of colors...abundant, intimate, soft, radiant. This improvisation gives me the feeling of a musical rainbow.

Travelling through the woods at midnight...a journey with surprising moments and not always knowing what you can expect further down the road.

The colors of the autumn...when leaves start falling, scents arise from the ground, and colors appear like an expressive painting....that makes the autumn a beautiful time of the year.

For this track I was inspired by a quiet simple chord progression starting with Dm-Am-Bflat and played around with it during each moment that I could work on this track. As usual, I never know what direction the track will go, thus from time to time the result surprised me 😄
My personal feeling about this track is that it has a slight emotional and dramatic character that could be played very well at nocturnal moments. So, I called it "Nocturnal Melody" to keep it simple 😏

“Forbidden Places”…it tells a story of a dark moment in time full of mysteries, unexpected events and a drive to reveal the secrets of that place.

Just a Day...for me a good moment to make some music coming directly from my mind. This track is an improvisation based on the key of E minor.

A cloudy sky contains several types of clouds, varying in shape and color which cause wonderful reflections on a water surface. Music can also contain dynamic variations in color and mood, that's why I've called this track "Dynamic Skies"

Sitting behind the piano in the evening, and thinking of how the world could be tomorrow....that was a moment to dream away and start playing to create a somewhat dreamy sounding improvisation.

The discovery of a hidden world, somewhere deeply hided in the forest between mountains. This gives me the intention to make a cinematic track with a somewhat dark character in the beginning that changes during the track towards a more light and tranquil ending 😊

Wandering around...I've made a choice for this track title because of the intention of the piano improvisation. It's based on wandering around in a few musical scales, while inspired by some music of Beethoven and Chris Isaak. It feels a bit mysterious in the begin and ends up with a lot of serenity.

A piano improvisation of one of Adele's famous tracks. This is my way to express the mood, dynamics and intention of the original track. Because I'm not an experienced piano player, it's always a personal challenge to make it sound ok, but I'm happy with it 😊

Improvisation leads to a certain kind of imagination. Music creates a personal feeling, what can be different for each person. This track was based on 2 separate chord progressions played on the piano and accompanied by some woodwinds and vocals. For me, this combination resulted in my personal imagination when listening to the final song 😊

Starlight...twinkling stars, high up in space, will light up triggered by the bright notes of a piano. No specific composition, but just a small intuitive played melody in the evening.

Making music is a way to express myself and let me explore the endless world of options while exploring the beauty of sound. Because I don't have a musical background, I have to learn all aspects of making music every time an idea for a new track comes up in my mind. For me, it feels like a challenge to find out how to learn more about music theory, harmonies, chord progressions, etc...and how this could be connected to each other to create a well sounding track.
