I understand (very little!)how you are deriving these pieces technically, and I think it is both hard work and brilliantly accomplished. neither of those things surprise me considering it is you doing it. But what does surprise me is organic humanity in the result, especially in this one. Deep nsoul (both you and the song).

hello friends, since I'm taking a break from german lyrics, I'd like to try something I know nothing about that will probably backfire: english lyrics (I wish I were just a fraction as talented as my fabulous friend terry reeves). 

I've chosen an instrumental piece I wrote 13 years ago as my very first upload to soundcloud under the name roth whyler. at the time, I had in mind the story of a woman who remembers the love of her life to whom she never confessed her feelings: her boyfriend's girlfriend. I had the machine create a playback based on my original piece as a test. after heaps of attempts, the result expressed such weird chaos of emotions that I left everything as it was. 

why bluegrass? because I just massively love the longing way of its dealing with 3/4 time.
