This is my first solo piano composition. This took me about 3 weeks to write, edit, and finalize. Some of the playback is distorted due to Sibelius playback errors.

Do You Feel Alive? Is based entirely off of emotions. Every single day I wrote a new part of the piece depending on my emotion. I later decided to turn this into an uplifting piece. 

DYFA? is about a young person going through the struggles, trials, and tribulations of life. It begins in minor, then modulates into a major key, then modulates back into minor. DYFA? is different than most piano compositions because it was specifically written to capture the attention of its listeners.

Do You Feel Alive?

This is my transcription/arrangement of the world famous Rondeau by Henry Purcell. This particular arrangement is for 3 Trumpets, 4 Horns, 3 Trombones, 1 Bass Trombone, 2 Euphoniums, 1 Tuba, 1 Snare, and 1 Timpani. 

The musicality of this piece is based off of Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra by Benjamin Britten. It takes you through the brass family in score order (Trumpet, Horn, Low Brass, Percussion), each by having their own melody. In the end all four ideas come together as one in the finale of this short brass chorale.
