A cold labyrinth. A thousand paths, seemingly without purpose. Strange creatures lurk in the shadows. From a distant memory, a spark of hope arises.

A dim light penetrates the high stone walls. A soft voice promises salvation and grants strength. New courage and a strong will lead to the final blow: Breakthrough.

Breakthrough

Story:

The starship Odyssey embarks on a mission to explore Nebula Incognita, a mysterious place rumored to hold secrets of the universe's birth.

As they delve deeper, the stars dim, and their ship's instruments begin behaving erratically. Slowly the nebula forms into a massive, ethereal entity shifting between a pulsating star, a swirling galaxy, and a human visage.

A deep and growling voice reverberates through the ship. Although the words are spoken in an unknown language, every member of the crew seems to recognize the message in their head:

I Am Your God!

Music:

This track starts mainly with synths, long and evolving sounds that express the vastness of space. Aleatoric brass clusters support this vibe. It turns into a rhythmic pulse, accompanied by strings, slowly rising in volume and tension. Brass with short accents is introduced to express the dangers of the journey.

The encounter of the powerful entity is implemented with an unstable harmony that consists of mainly minor and diminished chords and with continuous brass and low string staccatos. The positive final resolution is done via soft woodwinds and strings.

Story:

Elarion follows the call of adventure to save his village from a dark manace that may only be overcome with the help of a magical artefact. He leaves his beloved wife Kira and travels through deep forests, dreadful swamps and dark mountains until he reaches a mysterious cave.

Seemingly uninhabited he soon faces the creatures of the underground, some curious, some frightened, some threatening. The artefact is guarded by sentinals who are defending it with their lives. Elarion is able to steal it and is chased constantly throughout the whole kingdom. But he finally reaches the village and defeats the ominous threat.

Music:

In this purely orchestral track I tried my best to establish a memorable theme that I developed throughout the piece. It starts sad and melancholic, then bold for the adventure part. In the cave it is reharmonized in a dark and suspenseful manner.

After an action sequence, further variations follow, orchestrated with choir und brass. Again, an adventurous and heroic part with trumpet and horns is next. After a softer part with strings and woodwinds, the choir comes in and leads into a climactic finale with the theme played by strings in octaves.

Elarion's Odyssey

Far beyond the known world lies Eloria, an ancient realm once protected by the spirits of the wind. Among golden dunes and whispering stones stood a temple, carved from pale sandstone, devoted to the harmony between humankind and nature.

But the wind has changed. The sandstorms no longer carry only dust—they carry forgetting. The last of the sand oracles, a priestess named Aelira, senses the fading of her world. With the last strength of her voice and soul, she sends out a plea—a musical invocation to the ancient elements. Not a cry of despair, but a fragile thread of hope. She doesn’t want Eloria to vanish in silence. She wants someone to remember.

Her song rises over the dunes, intertwines with the wind, blends with the drifting sands—and becomes part of the desert itself. To this day, if you listen closely, you might still hear it: the whisper of Eloria’s Plea.
