The title "Marieta" probably refers to Francisco Tárrega's daughter María Rosalía. The first edition of this Mazurka was printed in 1903.

This recording  was part of my very first studio production. I labeled it "affettuoso assai" and made copies on CompactCassettes, each one by hand !  During the following years I managed to sell 500 pieces during my first gigs and concerts and was enormously proud of it.
