Brit Hansen and Andrew Sutherland make music individually as @hanssen and @secretschool, but also collaboratively. As friends and @hush-hush-records label mates, they have been crafting deep atmospheric techno music, perfectly combining their individual aesthetics into the audio equivilent of an artisanal bespoke grilled cheese sandwich.

Secret School's instrumental records are built around voice, piano, cinematic gauzy atmospherics and delicate percussion rooted in dance music. Sutherland has released original compositions and remixes under the Secret School name since 2009.

Hanssen is constantly waffling between pure ambiance and slamming dancefloor heaters, and the end result is usually somewhere in between the two. She was previously—and is currently—one half of the quirky house music duo @jacoblondon.
