What we denounce from ourselves, we replace with something new. 
The regression of life 
& the fluidity of existence is a continuous giving and taking. 
We take from our experiences, and we give to our emotions. 
the inherent beauty of emotion is its ability to change our experiences.
this paradox fuels everything we know. 
like Life & Death. they give, and they take. 
again & again. 
"They" in this context, are the roles of the observers. 
recycling the same idea, and the intrinsic mechanism of reality 
that "what begins, must end" 
and somehow, eventually we accept this. 
Our affinity for being and our apprehension for nonentity 
It gives us our purpose, and we take it indefinitely. 
They give us desire, and we fill it with everything. 
All that you have, has been given to you. 
and you gave yourself all of it. 
In this particular case, giving is 'receiving' 
because you can take as much as you want. 
but the more you take, the more you give away 
and you give it all. 
every last bit.

The intention of this release was a test of my own creative vitality, I wanted to publish something close to my heart, but without over thinking it. I set out to write an EP in which all the tracks would be individually written and produced entirely in one sitting. The tracks included fall into that category; If i did not sit down, write, record & master the track in one session it didn't make the cut. Naturally all the songs are very minimal and unique. This album is unlike anything I have ever released as EASTGHOST but I have faith that the true appreciators of my art will find it quite enjoyable. Bless & and let 2016 be great for you. Phuture: What made the name “Glimmer” feel right for the track? Any particular reason you decided to go with that title?

92elm: I was going through a strange transitional period at the time, and writing music was really providing me with my main source of positivity. “Glimmer” felt right because the song evoked a sense of joy in me, when other things in my life weren’t necessarily doing that.
