Most of my sounds are synthesized from Vintage hardware synths. Most samples used are from various movies and other sources. All tracks are pieced together like puzzles...Nothing but chop n process flip, twist, screw etc...
---The reason---
When I was in high school this radio program would air Wednesday nights for an hour and a half. Digiloution was the show name on FM 89.1 NYU. Never before have I heard such music on American radio...artists like Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Orbital, Autechre, Laurant Garnier,Spring Heel Jack, Acid Junkies, Photek, Goldie..... you get the idea. For American radio it was one of a kind. At that time I had never heard these genres and I had no idea how they made these sounds. Thats when I discovered synthesizers....
I am a gear junkie. My first hardware purchase was a Kawai R50e and my second purchase was the legendary Roland TB-303......I remember listening to "Acid Junkies" on vinyl and I just had to get that synth. I was walking down Amsterdam ave in Manhattan with headphones attached to my just bought Roland TB-303....those were the days.... I have had a hardware synth laden studio ever since.
