Sagmen co-founders Andre Salmon and Aert Prog team up for a solid single, featuring remixes from Matteo Rosolare & Jojo Angel, Mr Jefferson, as well as Aert himself. 

Individually, Ecuadorian Salmon has appeared on Leftroom, Repopulate Mars, Hottrax and Get Physical, while Parisian Aert Prog has had output on Anima Somnis, Laboratory Records and Popof’s Form. Launching Sagmen at the end of 2017, both producers have appeared on separate releases on the label so far, however the founders now come together for a collaborative release, blending both their sounds together. 

‘Sagmen’ opens the release with shuffling kicks and claps whilst alarming drones and bumpy rhythms creep throughout, before Daylight Robbery Records boss Matteo Rosolare teams up with Greece’s Jojo Angel version comes bouncing in, littered with crisp percussion and shaky hums. 

Twisted Fusion and Resonance Records producer Mr. Jefferson’s take on the track rolls in after, full of thunderous tones and clanking beats. These carve the way for Aert Prog’s remix, which strips everything back, twisting it into moody roller.

The next release on Roush comes from the ever-popular Iglesias. The UK-based producer has been one of the most affluently present artists in recent years and is often one of the first names out of the hat when talking about talented tech house creators. Opening the release is the title track 'Where's My Snare?', a typically gritty and hat-heavy Roush style track. It comes equipped with a well-balanced low end and perfectly separated high frequencies. Add to that some subtle melodic elements, percussive fills and cleverly manipulated vocal cuts, making it an entertaining weapon of choice. Next up, 'When You Wanna Groove' keeps no secrets with its naming. An essentially groove-focused roller with an emphasis on its seemingly endless layers of intricately panned rhythm. Rising levels of melody and vocal presence build throughout its transitional segments before throwing you straight back into the zone. Closing the EP is 'All About Sex', which focuses more on building a vibe from a stripped-back approach. Iglesias takes the 'less is more' route with this one, homing in on fluctuating the intensity of the tracks elements in different places to build atmosphere and suspense. Making his return to Roush Label, Sante Sansone comes bearing gifts in the form of his ‘West Skater’ EP. The Italian DJ/Producer is well-known for his creative and quirky approach to production and delivers 3 uniquely refreshing original tracks for your listening and dancing pleasure. ‘West Skater’ kicks things off with a bumpy snare-led bounce, from the offset it sets the energy levels to high and keeps its foot on the gas until the very end. Big, punchy drums and layered vocal sampling sit on top of long bass notes that create an engagingly fun and groovy atmosphere. The clever use of FX in the transitional sections of the track really give it a unique personality. ‘Some Days’ follows with pounding drums, shuffled hat rhythms, shorter bass notes and plenty of swing. The track is driven by a sassy female vocal hook which is manipulated creatively in places to make things really entertaining. A peak time track with plenty of power and groove!
Closing the release ‘Worriors’ is more on the rolling side of the fence. A foundationally stern track with one almighty low-end. Driving rhythm and a seriously catchy vocal steal your attention and keep you distracted for just long enough before your hit in the face with the main body of the track again. After having released smashing records on labels such as Blackflag, Bitten and Deeperfect the Italian Venditti Bros make their debut on Great Stuff Talents! Their latest two-tracker starts off with an energetic and tribalistic excursion entitled "Essential Moringa". Tight drums, mesmerising sounds and layers of hypnotic vocal chunks seal the deal. "Bad Moves" on the flip side follows an uplifting approach. The focus lies on the funk and effect drenched vocals that drift atop a thick, stomping groove.
