Necromancer

CHILDREN are a band from Berlin, Germany. Breathing the fumes of its tumultuous home city, the project has set out to take a decisive stance against lacklustre rehashings of the past and instead offering a take on rock’n’roll on its outer edge. The constant feeling of gnawing away at the impossible, of trying to pry open to the doors to the other with a crowbar is their modus operandi; so proven by their already infamous blood-soaked live shows and the first EP Counterfeit Fire. Released in 2022 on Rapid Eye Records (home to Maggot Heart and Deafkids), the four featured songs portrayed a band merely readying their guns.

Their new EP NEW TONGUE is a more extreme affair in all respects: Little Angel is a manic ode to ecstatic self-loathing, sounding like Jesus Lizard fueled by cocaine paranoia. „No words stick in impulse slavery…“
The title track New Tongue reminds of an apathetic stare through the window of the backseat of a car, letting the lights fly by with the feeling that they’re actually about to leave you. Not without a good old-fashioned fight that is: the last part of the song seems to wrestle with itself until it has finally turned itself inside out. It sounds simultaneously informed by Swans and classic Judas Priest, eventually giving way in its self-evaporization to the EPs last track My Time (Flesh Of A Star). A fierce three-minute dirge that recalls the rusty knives handed out by the Noise Rock of the 90s and delivers a sense of urgency that proves to be a fitting example for the essence of this band. Children, rejoice!

It is the will of the Devil to bring creation back to the everlasting primeval darkness.
We seek to go deeper into the abyssal bliss of the great void and never to return.
The astral travel into the tunnels is an endeavor that coalesces what is already united with the bonds of Luciferian blood. 

A collective reflection of the other side by respected adepts of the path will be unleashed into the impure cosmos soon. 

Until then, this is the sample of what is about to come from Thy Darkened Shade.
