"GIROS" is an EP that brings together a collective of artists who are part of BOHEM's inner circle of fellow producers and friends. Bound by their shared affection for art, they have come together to create an immersive musical experience that explores encounters, chords, ideas, and the constant twists and turns in the world of music.

BOHEM collaborates with two exceptional artists on this EP, namely Lupe Republic and Jano Gil. Lupe Republic, a DJ and producer hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, brings his versatile style to the table. His sound ranges from progressive, deep, and melodic house to downtempo, organic house, and deep techno. With a well-defined identity, Lupe Republic has graced stages around the world, including Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Barcelona, Sydney, Waiheke, Bali, and Ibiza. Currently based in Barcelona, he spends his time in the studio, crafting new music for future releases.

Together, BOHEM, Lupe Republic, and Jano Gil have created a captivating EP that showcases their artistic synergy and passion for pushing boundaries. "GIROS" takes listeners on a mesmerizing sonic journey, blending intricate melodies, pulsating rhythms, and immersive atmospheres. The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings finds Paul Lennar, Arbey Gonzalez and Alium collaborating on a special EP project. Hailing from Colombia, Paul Lennar and Arbey Gonzalez have achieved measurable success in their respective solo careers. The duo's sound often finds a nice balance between progressive, organic and melodic house, while their combined discography is highlighted by releases on trendsetting imprints such as Deepwibe Underground, Nature Rec, Or Two Strangers and Perfecto Black. Now, joining forces with newcomer and fellow countryman Alium, the trio lands on Movement Recordings with their collaborative debut 'Rocking Stereo', alongside a remix from Aaron Suiss.

The title selection finds Paul and Arbry combining their extensive forces for an uplifting slice of progressive house. Warm basslines and flickering percussion serve as the anchor for emotionally resonant hooks and jangly motifs to work their magic leading into the main break. A sweeping sonic experience all its own, the centrepiece flows through emotive chord changes and wind-swept effects, as the main melody rises, eventually giving way for waves of phasing noise and a groovy finale. The companion piece 'Arisen Earlier' finds Paul collaborating with Alium for an equally emotive dance floor creation. The Colombian duo work soulful melodic motifs atop warm rippling grooves and bucolic sonics for the ultimate set closing experience.

A new artist to 90watts as we welcome sub-Emerge on board. The New Delhi based producer already has quite a few releases under his belt, released under his alter ego Essayy, and has recently launched the sub-Emerge moniker as a home for his deeper, melodic and progressive house music. After the release of 'Melancholy of an Idle Mind' on Another Life Music, 'Transient Memories' is the second single under his new found name.

'Transient Memories' is a beautiful deep house track, rich with sounds and instruments and full of melancholic emotion. First up on remix duties it's Monojoke who cleverly used elements of the original and turns it into a groovin' organic house affair, whilst for the second remix we welcome Veytik back on board the label who gave the song an entirely different twist with his super exciting rework.

PREMIERE: Goldspek - Eternal Love (Martin Mind & Justin Cowley Remix) [Lelantus Records]

Lisandro has become a firm favourite with the Proton faithful through his meticulously crafted music and elegant melodies. At the forefront of the underground dance scene with his smorgasbord of influences and genre-defying work, the Argentinean producer has seen his work feature on such esteemed imprints as Songuara, Amulanga and Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas. A notable body of work can also be found on Lisandro's own Flug Lab imprint which continues to go from strength to strength as over a half-century of production credits chart a maturing path. No more is this evident than in February 2023's "Recurrence Soundtracks Netflix" which showcases a dozen electronica inspired pieces that formed the sonic background for the Netflix Spanish language film of the same name.

Proton Music has also seen the Lisandro sound well represented by both original and remix work. A trio of remixes for Erdi Irmak, Magitman and Cream saw the Buenos Aires resident make his presence felt in 2020 and 2021, before December 2022's "Traditions" took centre stage with its luscious soundscapes and head-shaking grooves.

Now returning to Proton Music, the "Eclectic" EP highlights another three tracks rich in imagination and elegant production work. In this musical triptych, Lisandro has explored a host of new ideas, giving rise to a powerful vision and unique sonic identity by pushing the envelope of modern electronic music. Perhaps the last word should be left to the artist himself, with Lisandro having the following to say about his new musical offering.

"I present to you my new EP: "Eclectic". This title reflects my vision of creating music that is a fusion of diverse influences and styles. "Eclectic" is a term used in the musical context to describe an approach that encompasses a wide range of influences and genres, blending them in a unique and original way. In this EP, I have pushed the boundaries of electronic music, merging elements from different genres to create an intriguing and diverse listening experience. Each track in "Eclectic" represents my passion for experimentation and the creation of unique sonic landscapes and club grooves. Immerse yourself in my eclectic musical world and discover the magic of style fusion! As an artist, I am thrilled to share this EP with you, and I hope you enjoy this musical journey as much as I did creating it. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of our label, we present Various Aliens / Fifth Contact, a unique compilation that brings together collaborations between the founder and 15 artists from different corners of the world.

The name plays with the idea of “VA” (Various Artists), transformed into “Various Aliens” as a metaphor for that creative diversity that seems to come from other dimensions.

Fifth Contact refers both to the number 5 of our anniversary and, at the same time, evokes the notion of an extraterrestrial encounter beyond imagination: a connection that transcends borders, styles, and languages—a cosmic meeting through music.

The result is a sonic journey of abstract textures, dark minimalism, and interplanetary energy that reflects the essence of the label and its global network of collaborators.
