Coming in for a next one to be released via Upon.You Records we've got a fresh collaboration going on which sees two long standing and beloved figures of the German scene joining forces to cook up some dancefloor goodness for post-pandemic times. We're talking Kotelett & Sascha Cawa here who are presenting their conjunctional label debut that is „Akemie" with two original tracks and a dubbed out retake of the title cut.

With „Akemie" we see Kotelett & Sascha Cawa provide a deep and highly fascinating dancefloor banger, pairing a precisely sculpted TechHouse foundation with a well hypnotic, slightly modulated main motif accompanied by an evergrowing stack of intertwined, corresponding synth layers leading towards the most angelic widescreen panorama breakdown you'll experience on a large scale P.A. system this year.

Subsequently „Takeshi" is shifting gears and enters full throttle mode whilst the prolific duo navigates a brooding, well futuristic sonic realm, firing up dancefloors with a clean cut, more muscular and surely spine-tingling, Techno-leaning sound vision balancing the thin line between a looming apocalypse and an oncoming salvation, perfectly represented by the tunes glistening melodies.

Finally, the title track makes a second appearance in its so-called „Akemie *Dub" version, providing an even deeper and slightly moodier variation for extended (Neo)Trance-oriented after hours sets and open air sunrise sessions under immaculate skies for a closing.

"For our next Motek Music release we are excited to bring the cinematic soundscapes of Jackie Komutatsu. Warrior is a driving two track EP steeped in warm percussive textures and weighty synth tones.

Title track Warrior has the faster feel of the productions with quick and constantly moving percussion sections. The highlight of the track comes in the extended breakdown that almost moves towards a middle eastern movie score whilst always keeping a dance floor feel before finally dropping back in with some serious energy.

Epicure, the second track in the EP takes a deeper style, still with fast moving elements the track has more subtlety through lower drone synths and hypnotic beat parts. Crisply produced the track has space in the mix to allow clear syncopation of rhythms to come through, creating some serious groove.

Remixing on this release it is a privilege to have Martin Landsky back with us putting his take to Epicure, and from South Africa Motek brothers Elleven and El Gordo who have added their touch to Warrior.

Following the success of Martin's first remix with us of Chris Llopis's 'Clove' he has applied more of his signature sound to this remix. Sharp stabs, soft filter synth chords and deep beats form a powerful layer on which elements of the original can play off to create this dance floor bomb.

Duo Elleven have played around with the Warrior string parts of the original to create an intriguing lead over which rolling beats and arpeggiating synths add movement and weight to the arrangement. The remix is finished off with the epic original vocal.

Finally El Gordo, one half of Elleven, has put his individual take on Warrior and as with the Elleven remix, has kept arpeggiating synths that develop with the addition of a warping sharp string textured lead . The whole track keeps a fast 16th note drive and through its instrumentation still has an uplifting feel with bell synth elements and being in a brighter major key."

Nesstor creates noise with intent. Driving, deep, psychedelically infused, progressive, yet always organic noise. Techno and house music mean more to him than just a form of dance music; they serve as vehicles for emotional journeys, which is reflected in his storytelling sets. Since establishing his studio on the grounds of Bahnwärter Thiel in Munich, the focus has shifted more towards production. With releases on labels such as Bull In A China Shop, Dantze, Harabe, YION and others he brings a wealth of experience to the controls. As a long-time organizer of the Netzwerk-Events and the MiLA Festival in southern Germany, he also possesses a keen sense for the shifting dynamics on any dance floor.
