It’s their creative approach to think out of those boxes – boxes that Maria and Luis enjoy to open up, especially if they’re filled with vintage records. It’s their great passion to draw inspiration from old vinyls and collect samples for their extraordinary productions. So the tracks „Upai“ and „Minuhan“ are simply the words of the track’s vocal samples... as easy as it gets!
Accompanied by the powerful remixes of Lola Villa, Da Iguana, Yusuf Lemone, Ali Kuru, Alvaro Suarez, Lui Mafuta & Puste, Geju and Mettabbana you can be sure some closed doors in your head will be opened up. Very few people know that i've spend a credible amount of my early 20s as a wine taster in the most elegant restaurant of Shangai. "The Black Venus" was the name of this fine dining paradise and i must admit that it was there when i fell in love with the most beautiful girl i've seen in my entire life.  I remember thinking she looked like a good illustration, her chin raised a little, jauntily, her hair the color of an autumn leaf, her face the same brown tint as the fingerless glove on her knee. Her name......i don't remember her name but her face, and that's enough i think. This is a mix that i've done for the memory of the most beautiful girl in "The Black Venus" restaurant.
