The initial passage of RoP into existence took place with its members scattered between Ljubljana and Rotterdam. Naturally, we consider them both home turf, and a healthy and frequent cultural exchange between the two as the honorary objective. The foundation stone in the frequency of Eardrop 02 is at last laid by our good friend Yutte, a seasoned ‘nultien’ selector and a co-founder of Enter the System crew, existing in the cross-section of music, photography, and cinema. Having kicked off the new year in style, playing at LWE NYD at London's Tobacco Dock alongside Paul Woolford, Bicep, Huxley, B.Traits and Adam Beyer, Ejeca's already looking forward to the year ahead with the promise of an EP on Flash Recordings (Jan. 22) and a remix for Spanish label Suara (Feb. 1). In the meantime, we've got an exclusive mix from the Northern Irish DJ and producer to share with you. As with his own productions, this mix spans a broad range of house and techno moments; from subdued minimal tracks to peak-time techno bangers, and with a sparing use of colour.

We are thrilled to welcome a new artist to the Metamorphic roster and it is none other than Italian producer Nicolo Loporchio recording under his Nico Lahs moniker!  The prolific Loporchio, hailing from  Bari, is one of the most accomplished Italian producers out there with previous releases on Ovum, Poker Flat and Rawax to name a few.  Following a five year hiatus during which he focused on his Cosmic Garden alias and started his own vinyl only label Cosmic Rhythm, he drops the Blow Your Mind EP on Metamorphic, 4 spaced out and atmospheric techno tracks that showcase his  skills in the studio and match perfectly with the ethos of the label.
