Way back when I first started my Patreon in 2019 I had a work in progress remix of Styles & Breeze's "You're Shining" that I posted. The remix never ended up getting done because it never meet the quality I wanted for it. "You're Shining" is one of my all time favorite hardcore tracks, so I really wanted the remix to meet a high quality standard. That old remix never meet that standard, so I stopped working on it.

Fast forward to a few months back, there was a remix challenge on Rhythmics' Discord server to make a quick, for fun remix of "You're Shining". I decided to set aside a couple of hours to give it a go and that I was going to emulate the 2007 to 2012 185 kick drum era hardcore. Immediately I liked what I had come up with and it was way better than the remix I had in 2019. After the challenge was over, I extended the remix I had made to a full song, I had finally made a remix of "You're Shining" that I consider worthy of releasing.

It's the collab you've all been waiting for..saved especially for our milestone 70th EP release! Conceived in lockdown but released for the masses to enjoy, it's A.B vs Digital Commandos with the epic journey that is 'Science Of Sound'. This is freeform at its fullest -  so don't dive in unprepared - as psy beats, eastern vocals, acid lines aplenty, crazy fills, DnB sections, operatic breakdowns, massive riffs, electric guitars, MC vocals, science lesson samples and MORE (phew) all collide to explode in one jam-packed creative unleashing of two freeform forces. With such a monster track to compete against on the Yang side, we dialled overseas and pulled in a big gun special rework from the one like SYNTHWULF. The first full non 4x4 track to feature on Stamina, the 'Wulf has delivered his filthiest neurostyle re-licking and it does not disappoint. Bass levels off the charts. So there it is, Stamina Records release number SEVENTY (!) as we continue to campaign for freeform beats for the masses...

South coast freeformers K-Wire and Lost Faith return as a team up on Stamina once again and the results are pure fire. This time unleashing two original tracks, 'Warrior Chief' leads the package and goes in heavy and hard with the energy levels, cranking them up to the stratosphere thanks to its thunderous underpinning kick bass groove. Pure rave riffs dominate throughout, interspersed with some brief much-needed respite in the form of a lush pad-heavy breakdown... before the madness ramps back up to the maximum as the main riff takes off! Throw in a killer vocal hook, fast-paced fills and cuts, and you've got yourself one serious Stamina freeform anthem. For the follow-up Yang cut the boys drop the tempo slightly but keep the pace high as 'The Chosen' taps into freeform's hard dance roots. Getting bouncy with the basslines, epic with the riffs, and big on the breakdown, coupled with a powerful lead vocal hook, and it's another winning collab. Roll on more freeform from the boys is what we say... watch this space.
