𝑰'𝒎 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆. 𝑺𝒐, 𝑰'𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓.

For this installment of Otaku Hardcore Revolution, I was asked to play a very special tribute to my favorite anime of all time, Serial Experiments Lain.

I channeled the spirit of CYBERIA and Lain as a whole through BEMANI fan-favorites and techno/trance tracks that best exemplify the dial-up days, topping it off with a very special hardcore mashup finish.

I also sprinkled Lain samples throughout the mix. Some are from the show, but others come from the oft-forgotten 1998 Lain video game. You can find the latter here: https://laingame.net/about.html

This set wouldn't have been possible without a concentrated enthusiasm for Lain that I witnessed in the response to my first OHR set. It brings me so much joy to see Lain survive in the hearts of so many. Thank you for loving her.

Hey everyone, this is DjKnuX writing here. Another OHR, another set from me!
When I heard the next OHR will have a focus on Japanese tracks I knew I had to sign up for this. The first three OHR events were pretty much my gateway to J-Core and so I already had a basic idea where to go with my set.
With this set I wanted to craft a throwback set to the old OHR days, focussing on tracks that could've been played at the first two OHR events. And so I've decided to play only tracks released from 2005 to 2010!
Oldschool vibes, oldschool mastering... To be honest, due to time constraints I only worked on this set for about 2 days so I'm sorry about any weird transitions or use of EFX.
