As we all know, there really is no shortage of artists in the vast field of electronic music, especially in the German capitol of Techno that is Berlin. They come and go with trends and seasons, build their hypes, and eventually vanish into the social medial void our postmodern times have created. However, there are those ones which stand out, which stay stuck in the eyes and ears of the public, which play and produce themselves in the collective memory of our community. Tham is one of those. As resident and face of underground public favourites like SYNOID, Revier Südost, and Lebendig, in just a few years the young artist has proven that he’s one to stay, to watch and to listen to. Growing up on the dancefloors of Berlin – figuratively speaking – Tham’s artistic vision hails from and is always directed back to that very place which represents the crux of the matter of our entire subculture. His interpretation of Techno, his musical vision, lives on his drive to set people in motion. Pounding bass drums, complex grooves, and aggressive synth lines lashing through the crowd, taking their hypnotic effect. This is what Tham provides. Music ex machina, coming out of nowhere, binding the eyes, ears, and bodies of his audience to the floor, to the very present, sticking to their brains, billowing through their minds for hours, long after they’ve left the club.

She combines fast, pounding techno filled with energy, emotions, heavy dancefloor-oriented beats and experimentation with other music genres. 
With her energetic and driving sets she played in major cities around the globe. Recently she was having her first Colombia tour and has just embarked on her first Asia tour including her debut at the legendary FAUST Seoul. Her latest releases on The Brvtalist, Dusk Records, and KREATUR are a few of her current V/A, also she has just released her first solo EP. 

She is a woman to watch with incomparable sound productions and we are more than excited to share this journey with her!

He's already producing for 6 years now and his music has influences of Rave, Warehouse, Acid and Trance. He gets his inspiration by all kinds of music like Electropunk, Hip-Hop and many more. As a DJ he is part of the event-collective Nebula and Exil. Finally, some words he told us: 'I'm a political person. Combining anti-fascism and music is very important to me. There is this kind of people that constantly yearns for the days ‘back in the days’. A ‘back in the days’ they mostly haven’t even witnessed for themselves. Those good old times when there still was an ‘underground’, when there was no ventilation in clubs, No Champagne at the bar, just ‘real’ Techno and loads of good sex. Well, Frank Heise is not one of those people. He doesn’t spend his time mourning after visions of electronic music and culture long gone. He creates new ones.

From dry and pithy Techno beats to heart-opening Rave-orgasms, from hypnotic Trance lines to disconcerting ambient tunes – Heise knows how to play his electronic claviature. Be it in the studio where he composes and produces his own tracks with analog drum machines and a modular synth system, or in the DJ booth where the notorious vinyl enthusiast shows off his most polished mixing skills. Always in sync, always devoted, always all in.

Well, the underground is long dead, the ventilation is finally installed, and there’s still loads of good sex – just not on the menu.

L Ʌ V Σ N first appeared for Ismus back on the very first release on the ISMVA imprint with a stellar acid track 'Eon'. Not long after she made an appearance at one of our events in Griessmuehle playing an outstanding hybrid set in the Silo.

This week she has delivered a full throttle set showcasing her take on the techno sound. We recommend checking out Marta's productions if you have not yet had a chance as she has been releasing serious weapons for peak time dance floors for quite some time now.

Leon Schanzenbach is a DJ and Producer from southern Germany, currently based in Berlin. 

Due to his parents, he already got infected with Techno and Metal in his early childhood, what influenced his sound a lot to be harder. He plays a mix of strong kicks, rumbling basslines, groovey percussions, dark synthies and evil acid lines in order to create a powerful set with Peaktime-Rave Vibes and Dancefloor Killers starting from 145 to 160bpm.

Together with his friends he founded the collective and label KANAL 6 in 2018 to represent the world their vision of techno music on their events, podcasts and upcoming releases.
