This gentleman was born and raised in New Orleans. He may not look it, but he has a little Creole in him ladies! (FYI that means watch out)Moving on, He became intrigued by music because his dad and uncles were in a singing group. As a child he sat and listened to them practice for hours at a time. He recorded his first song years ago in the trap house; ironically, the name of the song was “Trap House.” Unfortunately he was sidetracked by hustling and making fast money so making music was swept under the rug temporarily. When Katrina hit his life went downhill for a while because his family was forced to scatter. In an odd way this became an eye opener to what he could be doing with his talents verses what he was doing. It took a minute for him to realize this though.
You see this guy was a trouble maker when he moved to Atl. All he wanted to do was sale dope with his boys and fight. He thought he was on top of the world. Fast money and plenty of girls was all that mattered. His parents did not allow this to go on though. It was either go to school or get a job. The only problem was he kept getting kicked out of school for fighting! When he got kicked out of school his parents put him out of the house. He started bouncing back and forth from trap house to trap house. Then one day he sat back and looked at himself. He knew that without an education he would end up dead or in jail so he had his parents enroll him into alternative school. This is where he met a man who influenced him to turn his life around. His name was Coach Burk. He always looked out for him and his wellbeing, and he became his mentor from that day forward.
Although Coach Burk was trying to get him on the right track he couldn’t do it all because he was a Hard Head at Heart, which led him to getting kicked out of alternative school. As a result he was placed in Georgia's Youth Challenge Academy and surprisingly he excelled in every aspect that the school had to offer. He was involved in just about everything from recon to drill team. You name and he did it. In youth challenge you are forced to earn everything and take responsibility for your actions and that is what he did. The best part about it was he did not let Youth Challenge be the final step in bettering his life. After graduating, he joined the United States Army. Basic Training was tough, and his mouth made this a bit more difficult but he remained strong and made it all the way through.
When he finally made it home from training, he was a different person. He felt as if he had the world at his finger tips and he saw things very differently. These feelings did nothing, but increase especially when he had his daughter Kasidy. She was one of the reasons he felt like he had to do better. Not too long after, he was blessed with his son, and it he realized that he really had to get out of this fantasy world and do better because it was not about him anymore, or he was going to lose out on this great life and the kids that he loves so much. He did not want to leave his family, but he had to make a sacrifice so they could have a better life, so he volunteered to go overseas in desperate need of money for his kids. He was going did this for them. Not himself, his wife, or his parents. He knew that he had to do what he had to do in order to provide for his kids and till this day he would do it again just to know that they will have a good life.
He spent 10 long months in the desert where he was reunited with his passion to make music. He sort of forgot that it was there until his home girl needed a male RnB singer for a track she made. (Yes your soldiers are overseas making music in their spare time) He thought it was just going to be a onetime deal, but he could not fight the urge to live out his dream any longer. She shared her software with him and that was all she wrote. He began writing music and recording every chance he got. From singing to rapping to making beats, and producing his music, he did it all. When he made it home, he became more serious and in tune with what he was doing and now he is on the grind to making some of the hottest music for the world to enjoy. He has something for everyone, and his music has so much passion behind it whether it is a Rap song or R and B hit, he puts his all into it.
In his eyes this is the extinction of his life, his essence, his contribution to his city, his family and the legacy that his family has placed in front of him. The Perfect Image Brand was made by his older brother Nathan Dassaso A.K.A Knowledge Wise and with his brother’s vision and as well as his drive and passion they have taken Perfect Image ENT. To new heights and levels.
Music and entertainment is in his blood, he has the potential to be one of the greatest musical artists to ever step foot on a stage. He was set to release his album on his birthday but his grandmother’s untimely death side tracked his plains but yet the vision hasn’t stop or falter in any way shape or form. He released his solo R&B album entitled (Sex, Love, and Heartbreak) in early July. Recently he dropped hard head the mix tape in November 2011, and he is currently in the studio working on the next mix tape “confrontation” due to drop the beginning of 2012.
Sorry to keep you on the edge of your seat…Without further ado, I would like to introduce you to hard head!
