Hardmoon London is a new independent platform solely focused to release music by the analog militants who are struggling against the loudness war of digital industry and want to spread the love of that warm, distorted sound exclusively through vinyl or special tapes. The tracks we are going to release are recorded directly on tape without "the help" of computers, so that interference, mistakes, and noise are all going to be apart of what's pressed straight onto the 180 grams of throttling hammers grinding away. It's all enclosed within in a special printed sleeve!

The first release comes by way of courtesy from the mysterious Hissman who captures, with his name, the vey essense of the tape's sound: Hissssss... that's the sound you hear when a tape starts rolling.

These tracks go right back to the essence, hitting the full spectrum with stripped back classic New York and Chicago House cuts that wouldn't seem out of place in a BMX or WBLS mix from back in the day. Catchy dx basslines, slammin reverb drenched drum programming, and deep strings are on order for this one. All guaranteed to more the party all night long, drop the needle and let these do the talking....Huge huge party cuts, check the Moonriver vocal and you'll hear it immediately

Working in elements of the classic sounds that msde the french-house anthems dominate the air waves for so long, its shaping up to be a real head-spinner in the club.

For this episode of CKFM we have Wilson Records label owner and bad man DJ Fabio Monesi. 

Since 2012 Wilson Records have been putting out some of the best house records going from the likes of Gene Hunt, Steve Murphy & Fabio himself. Along with having one of the most recognizable logos in dance music the label has stayed true to it's sound putting out New York Inspired house with a twist. Fabio has also released on Russian Torrent Versions, Creme Organization & Skylax amongst others. 

Fabio's other alias, "Hissman" shows the darker side of his production with tough italo, acid & electro jams and with releases on labels Hardmoon & DABJ we look forward to hearing what he has coming out this year ;)

@Wilson-Records head honcho Fabio Monesi has quickly carved out a solid reputation through a unique, ruff-n-ready sound that land somewhere between vintage, dusty Chicago house and analogue-driven hardware techno.

Most of his releases have landed on his own Wilson Records, a vinyl only imprint that has also housed records from Chicago pioneers Gene Hunt and Jordan Fields, as well as a few select important releases on labels that share his aesthetic like L.I.E.S. , Craigie Knowes or Creme Organization.

The fascination and the attraction for all the different shades of electronic music brought Fabio to explore new territories, and to release music under different aliases constantly, making Fabio one of the most prolific producers of the recent years.

Whether it be via a no bullshit DJ set or his own take on a live set, Fabio remains consistent in drawing his audiences back, time and time again, Assuring to be constantly in-demand as a DJ at some of World’s best clubs.
