Brooklyn native Victor Calderone has been cranking out house tracks and remixes since the mid-'90s, when his 1996 production "Give It Up" became a club favorite around the globe. Since then he has been in demand, remixing tracks for the biggest names in pop music, including , , , , and the rarely remixed . Calderone is equally busy as a DJ, with residencies at the Roxy in New York and Liquid in Miami. He's issued a number of mix CD's, including E=VC2 (1999) and Resonate (2003).

There are only a few places in the world were we can do this crazy thing of playing so many hours, and the reason why this happens is because Stereo is Magic. Stereo is a proper after-hours that doesn’t serve alcohol, so there is no bottle service, no confetti, no bullshit, the only reason to be there is for dancing, dancing till your feet hurt. The sound system is completely hand made by Tommy Piscardelli, the owner, and is one of the best in the world, which is closely followed by a great lighting system and a perfect DJ Booth. The monitors sound like a production studio, the booth is super comfortable and is the perfect height to the floor. The capacity of the club is proper, not too big, not too small, just intimate and cozy. It has also a mezzanine that create a second level where you have a whole view of what’s happening and of course a dancing spot too. But all this is useless without the most important element at a club, The Crowd! And let us tell you that Stereo can boast of having the most loyal and educated crowd in the world, one of the best we’ve ever seen. For more than 15 years Stereo has been a mandatory stop for the best DJ’s in the world.  A place made by music lovers for music lovers. Thats why we call it (((Home))).

Here is your monthly dose of fresh BEATS!
This month I found something a bit different.
This is a set I recorded at the original Club Space in Miami in 2001.
I printed up 100 CDs of this mix and titled it "Enter The Darkness"
I gave it to my friends and loyal Space heads. I had totally forgotten about it but ran across it while moving some stuff. It reminds me of the early days of Space, when I was still playing vinyl, and the underground vibes that were growing in Miami at long last.

This has been played on The public stand and also been used by both Sims and D. Clarke.
The approach I took with this is more of a Chicago tracky style. My house heads here in the city will appreciate it. Thanks.
